We had an amazing stay at Ava Resort with a group of 8, and overall it was a fantastic experience. The kids club was the biggest highlight — hands down the best we’ve ever experienced. Earlier this year we went on a Disney Cruise, and even our kids said they liked Ava’s kids club better. The staff there were exceptional and truly made it special for our family. The food across the resort was outstanding at most of the restaurants. While the buffet was a bit mediocre, there were plenty of food options overall, so we were never short on choices. The baked goods were some of the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive — absolutely delicious. I only wish they had a churro station instead of crepes or waffles. Service was hit or miss depending on where you were. Some wait staff genuinely made the trip memorable, while others left us wondering why we were even there. A special shout-out to Angel at the Bayside restaurant — he was exceptional and truly stood out. Unfortunately, we had very poor service at Black Iron, which was disappointing. The entertainment was amazing, and the water sports were a huge hit with our entire family. There was always something fun to do. One area that needs improvement is room service, which did not meet expectations and could definitely be better. Despite a few inconsistencies, Ava Resort delivered an incredible family vacation, especially for those traveling with kids. We would absolutely consider returning.

The resort itself and the room were great, the beach is not swimmable as mentioned in other posts - but the lagoon makes up for it! Staff overall was okay, not over friendly or helpful when asking questions, etc. for a resort that puts emphasis on it being kid friendly and family centered we were told multiple times a day at the restaurants high chairs were not available which made dining time difficult! As well - some nights multiple restaurants had no capacity for dining which only left the buffet.

Es un hotel increible, muy grande con mucho espacio por todos lados. Solo algunos detalles menores que podrían haber mejorado nuestra estancia. Contamos 12 veces que nos preguntaron si celebrabamos algo y respondimos que nuestro aniversario, pero nunca hubo un detalle al reapecto, ni si quiera un plato con felicidades o alguna velita, o algun detalle, entonces ¿para que preguntar? La segunda es que están haciendo reparaciones en las canchas de tenis todo el día y el martilleo y taladro se escuchan en el cuarto como si fuera en el piso de arriba, mi hijo no pudo tomar sus siestas 2 días a pesar de que llamamos a quejarnos por el fuerte ruido. Notamos al entrar al cuarto en medio de la limpieza, que las tazas y vasos los lavan en el lavamanos, y quedan sucioa.También es molesto que para los restaurantes solo sea con reserva ya que si intentas hacerlo el mismo día ya no hay lugar, 2 noches tuvimos que cenar en el cuarto por no poder hacer reserva. La experiencia del tepanyaki sin duda la mejor. Fuera de eso, las albercas e instalaciones de lo mejor. Muchaa opciones de diversion para los niños, incluso en días de lluvia.
