Property grounds are very well maintained. Staff was amazing. Enjoyed having multiple dinning options and everyday there was something to do with live entertainment. The kids loved the water park and activities offered to them in the kids club. My husband and I will definitely recommend this resort and come back.

The employees services to their clients was excellent! Never once did I see any of the employees on their cell phones and not attending the customer! Restrooms were always clean and not once did they stink. The hallways are clean every in that property was beautiful, clean and had amazing customer service! Keep it up Crown Paradise Palace! This resort clearly isolates families with small children to a specific area that is run down, dirty, noisy, and filled with roaches & cockroaches! The staff is very nasty and have a bad disposition throughout the entire resort. It was easier to find nasty staff than friendly!

I would say this is right down the middle for Cancun properties we have visited. Everything was decent - nothing outstanding or terrible. The resort was clean and well-maintained - but clearly an older property with some strategic face-lifts here and there. Pools were very busy and chair-wars in the early AM were very real. If you didn't get your towels and pool toys on some chairs by 8am - you were lucky to have anywhere to sit. No reservations needed at restaurants was a nice touch vs. the typical resort. The better restaurants were busier - but if you get there with a reasonable expectation - you'll be fine. Super convenient to the airport - being in the main Cancun strip on the south end. Entertainment wasn't great - although the staff was excellent. We had many great interactions with all kinds of people in all roles on the resort.

As I pulled into the roundabout to check in the security guard told me I couldn’t park there even to do check in. Really? So what is the roundabout for? Then I moved car to open spot next to lobby, nope that’s for taxis and I was shoo’d away as well. Awesome first impression Crown Paradise. Guard was rude about it, mind you I speak fluent Spanish and am a pretty down to earth guy so it takes a lot to offend me. Not cool. As others have mentioned this property is old and dilapidated. The restaurants were all dirty, the booths weren’t clean and had visible stains. All the restaurant food was terrible. They served us cold steaks and the worst ceviche I’ve ever had in my life no joke. Our room patio door had no outside handle, and the bathtub in our room did not work and only slowly leaked out water so it would take over an hour to fill it. The safety rail outside on our patio was not securely bolted into the dry wall so if you leaned on it you’d fall to your death, mind you I have a 6yo daughter so I was pretty ticked about the state of our room. After 10hrs of travel I absolutely love getting to my hotel room and having to call maintenance and have them fix problems that any good hotel manager or hotel personnel should already have attended to. Shows a clear lack of attention to the property. Service was terrible. Spa jacuzzi is lukewarm at best. Shower no pressure. Most are unhappy working there. Reyes at pool however was delightful & very kind to our family. - Mr. Fargo

The property is very organized and clean but dated. The amenities are awesome for families with young kids. You have to be strategic to get pool chairs, doesn’t seem like they have enough. Pools are clean and the perfect temperature. The service was wonderful (especially in the restaurants) and it helps if you speak a little Spanish. The beds are quite uncomfortable, and the property would be elevated so much if they got new beds. The security at the hotel is high, we had a friend who was vacationing at another Cancun resort who walked over and security was watching him the whole time (comforting to know when there are lots of little ones at the resort). The buffet food is okay, if you aren’t fussy you will be fine. The restaurant food was pretty good, especially the Mexican restaurant. I do wish the coffee was better, but I’ve found that’s an issue with every all-inclusive. The waves on the beach can be rough (not the hotel’s fault obviously), so be prepared to spend more time at the pool. I used the laundry service and it was a bit pricey but the turnaround was fast. I would stay again! My kids loved it.

This was a great pick for a vacation with kids! The kids area, programs, movies, mini golf, etc. always gave us something to do. The pools never felt over crowded. The staff throughout the resort were so friendly! Public bathrooms were always clean and stocked. We saw people doing yard work, painting, etc. during our stay, which shows they are maintained and updating when necessary. We never had a wait for dinner at all, however there were some nights that restaurants were randomly closed. Buffet is the only option for breakfast and then buffet and snack bar are the only lunch options. The food just isn’t great. There are plenty of options that are fine, just not made well. Don’t plan of getting a great steak or seafood meal anywhere. The beach area was beautiful and clean but the water really is just too rough to swim. Lots of rip tides. You really can’t go much deeper than your knees and that’s pushing it. The current is so strong. You can easily walk down the road to the “Cancun” sign for photos and there’s a huge public beach- again not swimable. There’s a gas station across the street for snacks. We booked a snorkel excursion same-day through Aquaworld right at our resort and it was stress free. Overall, the resort was well worth the price. It was clean, drinks were good, service was excellent. I would def recommend, especially for families with young kids.

This was my first time staying at the Crown Paradise Club in Cancun. My overall review is that the resort is average compared to other resorts that I've stayed at in the area. This is my 5th trip to Cancun and I've stayed at other resorts for the other 4 previous trips. Positive remarks include friendly staff, overall clean resort, and good music played at the main pool area. I was disappointed that my room, located in the second tower, was a bit outdated. I had friends staying in tower one and their bathrooms were updated with newer sinks, toilets and showers. The elevators in the second tower were often jammed or took a while to get from one floor to the next. While there are multiple dining options, dinner is first come, first serve so there was always a wait time to get seated and the flavors of the dishes were average. I prefer other resorts that offer reservation seating so that I can plan my day accordingly. The price point for this resort aligns with an average rating.

Overall Crown Paradise - Cancun was really good considering the price and all it includes. It’s family friendly so if you’re traveling with children, this hotel is perfect. It has a lot of attractions for children and the staff is very attentive. I would personally say that the staff is the best part of the hotel. The only problem we encounter was the wait times for the buffet and restaurants, the lines are long. The restaurants are first come, first served so be prepared to stand in line for 45min to 1 hour, but I would say the wait is worth it. The adults only pool is very clean and quiet, it’s perfect for people that don’t have kids.

The property needs to be updated and much cleaner. Be aware that they will charge you more by the end of your stay if you book and pay through Expedia. When you check out they will hit you with a $500 bill extra. A lot of people had the same issue like me.

The food and room quality were good, in addition to the view that the room had of the sea. The following are some issues I faced. 1. Many public restrooms were out of soap, and no one added soap to them. Especially the public restroom by the pool and the beach. Even in other restrooms, such as the one by the main buffet, some of the soap dispensers were out and were never filled during the 4 days that we were there. 2. Our room sink was clogged a little bit, and water did not go down fast enough. 3. Ice cream cones were served along with the lunch. When kids see that they will not eat their food. My kid did not eat her food and instead wanted ice cream constantly. Ice cream cones should not be served along with the food.

It was a nice vacation. Pools were clean. Amenities were open. Had activities for kids. Kids thoroughly enjoyed it. As an adult I was confused by the buffet not letting you take food or drinks in and out. If you wanted a light snack during the day (fruit, yogurt, granola) it was either room service or sit down. There were no plastic ware or to go containers to get food from the buffet. Buffet also had a line for breakfast and dinner. Had to go early to beat the rush. Always a line at the bar. Wish they had waters free for us to get ourselves ... always had to wait in line for water. Very difficult with kids and playing by the pool. The staff at the main buffet were my least favorite. Dj, kids entertainment, bellboy, all lovely. Wait staff were average. Difficult to receive change so definitely travel with a lot of small bills. Our room was really nice. First floor was awesome. Last night it was really loud at midnight with kids running around and screaming by our doors but security promptly took care of that. I went to an adult all inclusive in Cancun a year prior and maybe it's not fair to compare but this was a 3.8 out of 5. For the most part it was really nice clean and fun. Food was good. Nothing was super great. I'd probably try somewhere else next time but this was a fun experience. Again- kids loved it.

There is something for everyone. We were greeted with kind gesture. With All inclusive option, we didn’t have to go out of the resort. Multiple pools, restaurants and water park for younger kids to enjoy. It’s worth it!
