Clean & nice. Breakfast was so chaotic. They kept running out of everything. When someone would ask a staff member, they replied in a rude manner, "we're very busy. We'll get to it when we can." My son and I waited 15 min for maple syprup and a fork. It never came, so he ate his pancakes with jelly and his hands. They ran out of milk, so he couldn't even eat a bowl of cereal.

The staff are wonderful and the rooms are very clean. Breakfast is delicious. If it is busy it can take awhile to check in or out so leave yourself time. Also the shuttle is NOT guaranteed to the airport so don't be surprised if you need to order an Uber.

I told the hotel bus driver that my flight was on JetBlue. The driver dropped me off at Terminal 3. JetBlue is at Terminal 4. I paid $30 in Taxi fare to get to the right terminal!!!

The hotel is very nice, and looks clean, in general. However, there is a serious problem with administration. Two out of three people I interacted with at the reception were indifferent to questions I was asking. For example, there is a sign saying that their operation is “highly risky”. I asked what that was about, and I only got vague answers about it describing “how they do things”. Concerning. The room was nice, but there was a strong smell coming from the shower drain. Letting water run a bit made it disappear for a while, but it kept coming back. However, what I found absolutely outrageous was the management of the restaurant. We had a small dinner, and the entire restaurant was peppered with dirty plates on many tables; we only saw someone getting them once the kitchen had closed. In the morning, it was the same; dirty dishes everywhere, dirty mugs being placed next to the coffee machine for people to use. I think this is a good chain and the hotel could be excellent, but the current administration (Dec. 2025) is letting the place deteriorate. They are clearly understaffed, and many staff members are not trained. Urgent action needed.

Not what you’d expect from a big name like Hyatt. We filled the form the hotel sent us to book the airport shuttle to pick us up from the airport after a very very very long day of flights. We waited at Cancun airport for over an hour, but no one came. We called the hotel over & over again, No answer. Hotels.com tried to call them and also no answer. We ended up having to take some very expensive airport transfer for a hotel that was 7 minutes away. The hotel and room itself is very lovely, very clean, very comfortable. The breakfast was awful! No cutlery, no cups, no coffee, half the things were empty. The things that were there were nice like the hash browns. But in general, everyone was just standing around waiting for cups/ spoons/coffee/ food, Hotels.com said they will ask the hotel to reimburse our transfer. And the hotel itself and rooms and bathroom was very very comfortable after a tiring night.

Was told day of that airport shuttle was not available for me because of my late arrival but they could get me private transport. I confirmed to a Francis Castillo to book it. Didn’t get a response back. I sent a message on WhatsApp through a number they provided in the email if my booking is confirmed. Someone responded it was confirmed . When I landed I messaged them on WhatsApp again - no response. I called them and they said they dont have one scheduled and no one was available. Very inconvenient experience and airport taxi was very expensive Staff was friendly though and space is clean.
