This is a great property! The staff are so friendly, best beach in Cancun, the food is excellent, and the overall location allows for easy bus, taxi, and walking to some great areas! Been going to this hotel for 35 years...twice a year!

I came here for a solo trip and wanted a quiet beach vacation. The property exceeded my expectations. The hotel has clean, my room was large enough with a pristine ocean view, and the staff was super friendly, polite, and helpful, and the amenities around all hit the sweet spot. I further got a deep tissue massage treatment at their Ikal Spa, and both the front desk staff and the facilities attendant were welcoming and helpful. I recommend the massage therapist, Sandra who provided a very effective deep tissue massage to ease my muscle tensions and aches. I look forward to being back at this property soon! Thank you everyone.

We have been staying at the intercontinental for over twenty years. Sadly, the quality of the food has declined so badly that we only found one dish that was safe to eat. We love the staff and the beach (best in Cancun) but the food problem is getting unbearable.
