The hotel charged us $30 CAD for towel cleaning fee. Never heard of it before at any other hotel. Total ripoff under the name of cleaning fee. Clearly a money making scam. Won’t consider this hotel again.

The room is the most important part of a relaxing vacation, but the condition of mine was very bad. It was very very old, dirty, and poorly maintained, with broken doors and fixtures. The washroom and bedroom were extremely dark, and overall the room felt neglected. My room was a corner room with a view of the back side of the building, which made it even worse. I communicated my concerns to the staff, but no effort was made to change my room or improve the situation. Although the staff were friendly and food was available, the food quality was disappointing, especially the pasta, which tasted horrible. Compared to my friends’ rooms, which were much nicer, my experience was very disappointing.

The hotel environment is clean and tidy; chaotic when the music is blasting in the pool area for entertainment time, the whole hotel premises is very loud including when you are inside your room trying to rest. The food is good. We liked the specialty Italian. Buffet area has limited choices but enough to fill for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beach is small, there is only a small portion to swim because it's next to the docking/loading area of the ferry to Xcaret excursion. The pool is one huge big thing in the middle of the hotel. Not bad for an affordable vacation as long as you don't expect luxury.

What I like about my stay is thay the bedding was clean.The towels are clean and they smell so good. Also you see lot of staff working on the property. You feel safe on this property. The only thing that I didn't like was the lobby is too small. When I checked into the hotel late at night.There was only one lady at the reception and there were like 30 people wanting to check in. When I asked her, how come there is only one counter open she told me that on mondays, she's the only one who's working there. This was the only drawback on that particular day when I checked in.It was a slow process.

A very loud property.. workers outside early in the morning banging drooping talking loud. To call Room service u will get at least 15 to 20 rings if they answer.. there should be a big sign for women or people who wear makeup that they will be charged $15 for hand towel. I don't know how many people read that but I've never ever heard a disclosure of if you get makeup or something on a towel name perhaps can't be removed they will charge you the customer. Two different occasions the same visit just last week we were there from the 17th through the 27th we had two people try to get in our door and that would be on camera one gentleman was not American that other gentleman was one gentleman that sounded American just had underwear on.. the best server that we have throughout our visit was Natalia there she was epic The food was okay. The seafood tasted like seafood. The desserts looks sweet but very dry seasoning was very off. A lot of repetition in the food and the buffet. But if you're wanting to relax that is not a place if you want to relax by 8:00 or 9:00 after a long day of fun in the sun with friends or family or loved ones the concerts are loud they're at the pool even the staff could not hardly hear all their walkie talkies or the phone when they were answering phones or calling management for whatever reason. It was the most awful experience to be read it so high. Lastly it's really sad when they are good workers there that go above and beyond that alone like natalia
