This place is very very outdated. You have to take a quick shower because the water temperature changes quickly, from warm to burning hot. Long lines at the buffet & their food is not great at all, about the same everyday. Empty trays of food & they don’t replenish it right away. They run out of beer cans at the outside pool, entertainment outside isn’t great, no jacuzzi , no umbrellas on the beach. The only thing that this hotel has is a beautiful beach. I definitely don’t recommend this hotel. Spend a little extra & don’t make the same mistake like I did.

The resort is nice enough. The worst part is reservations for non-VIP at the restaurants were impossible to get. The desk opened at 730am and by 8am there were none left or maybe one at 930pm. So we were forced to eat at same buffet all week which made me feel a little jipped. Also, and this feels like there's nothing to be done but our room had a balcony and the bed faced away from the balcony. The balcony itself faced directly into someone else's room and their bed. So when I was out looking at ocean I could turn my head and see directly into the neighbors in bed. Such terrible design! There is no drink service at the pools or beach (there are bars open but no wait staff) which was also disappointing. But there were plenty of chairs, the entertainment was better than some places we've been, and it was pleasant enough for the price point.

The furniture in the room had mold in the cushions and it always smelled musky when we'd get into the room.There are no umbrellas at the beach and the palm trees are dead so they have no leaves to offer shade. The beach chairs are pretty old and weathered/broken and there are so few that if you dont get down to the beach early enough, you're not going to get a chair. The dishes in the buffet are dirty, and it was actually hard to get food. It was odd but its like no one knew where lines were so it was a crazy free for all on the food that was out.. it took a long time to refill empty food bowls on the line for guests, and there was always a wait to get into the buffet. It was actually frustrating trying eat there. Definitely not worth the money paid. We had to go off the resort for food and drinks that actually tasted good. The only good thing was their Circus show. We were told the room was so horrible because that is what Expedia buys when they buy the rooms each year.. This whole experience has made me rethink wanting to book anything through Expedia if the quality of the room is effected by the lower rates offered.

This hotel is a ice hotel beach front. Comfortable beds . Room is clean. The only negative i can say is the food from breakfast to dinner not as good as the occidental cancun one. But their seafood resto is the best.

long lines to get into restaurants (like 30 to 40 minutes). Food Terrible. 9.30 pm looking to somebody to make and clean the room even when we left the room early in the morning. calling operator and never answer the phone... A horror movie!

Unfortunately,the condition of the room was not very clean. as the building is quite old. there were many areas that clearly need repair, and several things were left broken and unattended. the air conditioning did not work in the main lobby and the restaurant. the worst issue was the strong and unpleasant smell in the bathroom. the odor was coming from the drain, and it was so bad that we had to cover it with towels in order to use the bathroom. in addition, the swimming pool did not appear to be cleaned properly. the surface was slippery,and we almost fell, which raised serious safety concerns. another inconvenience was the dining reservation system. in order to have dinner, we had to line up before 7;30am. just to make a reservation, which was very stressful and unreasonable for guests. Overall, the hotel atmosphere was extremely disappointing and not something we would like to remember. this stay did not meet our expectations at all.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience fell short. The pool could have been much cleaner, and the rooms were in poor condition with a noticeable moldy odor. The doors and shower were old and worn down. To make matters worse, the elevator was broken— the 5th floor button didn’t work, so we had to go to the 6th floor and walk down.

1st room ac didnt work, we were switched to another one, that was even worse to be a premier room, you had to turn on all faucets ar once to be able to get hot water, you had to turn all 2 light switches in order to get the bathroom light to work, to watch to tv u had to scroll to 10 channels before you were able to watch tv, the sheets on the bed were not soft at all, sink in restroom smelled very bad everything you will use it, ph never worked to call operator or room service, food always cold, DO NOT STAY HERE!

I don’t recommend this hotel , it’s outdated the shower head fell on top of my head while in the shower. Water flow would stop in the middle of shower and the walls were moldy I made the best i liked the location but it was to the point I didn’t want to be in the room it was pretty disgusting

This was a perfect location for a quick family getaway. Great value and met our expectations. Our room and parts of the hotel could use some renovations, but it was clean and comfortable. There was always plenty of food with a decent variety of options - nothing too fancy, but good and plenty of it.
