11/10! Great staff, very clean environment and great energy. This resort was the best we’ve been to! It’s a big resort, but everywhere you go is beautiful and so clean! The walking paths are pretty and if you don’t feel like walking after a great dinner at one of the many restaurants, you can get a golf cart to take you back to your room. They have multiple pools to go to and a beautiful beach to relax on. They have fun events every night so you’re never bored. The rooms are beautiful and they have a great view whichever building you stay in. We would recommend this resort to both couples or families!

We honestly had a good time but the struggle was REAL with 3 kids. They have BUFFET for EVERY MEAL except dinner and reservations are hard to get and mind you we had a butler! One time they almost refused us because they said we didn’t have one although we did. Service at the restaurant was 50/50 I think staff is low and therefore service ultra slow. Our favorite was the marina seafood restaurant and service was excellent. Kobo was good as well but chicken and rice too salty. Italian was the worst with wait times and no bread service so for 45 min we waited for chicken nuggets and pasta. The buffet was good but inconvenient with little kids. The service staff in there made up for it so made us extra understanding how hard they worked for us. Waits were never terrible and food good. Property was super clean EXCEPT the marina side pool. Kind of gross n slimy and white foam. It’s odd because there was NO FOOD SERVICE anywhere by pools. So inconvenient with children to get all dry and pick up everything to go to buffet. Our room was cleaned daily except one day it was not cleaned. And one day we received turn down service but only once. The worst part NO CHICKEN NUGGETS anywhere but dinner. It was rare to see them on lunch buffet. Didn’t understand that as all kids love them. They will make quesadillas at the grill so that helped once we discovered that. Venus pool is boring and overall entertainment at hotel el boring. We enjoyed the culture night show.

Our family of four, including children ages 5 and 3, loved this resort! The staff was kind and helpful, food was delicious, and the resort was clean and well maintained. The beach for us was a HUGE positive because it allowed our kids to walk into the ocean without massive waves. They searched for fish, rocks and shells. For small kids this was perfect! We can't wait to return. Thank you for the memories Ventus!

We had a wonderful time at the Ventus at Marina El Cid & Spa. The resort was beautiful, staff was very friendly, restaurants served high quality food with lots of options, and service was incredible. There were lots of activities for the kids and the pools provided lots of fun for them too - foam party, waterslides, cliff jumping, volleyball, polo, and water games everyday. The only drawback to this resort is the beach. It is very narrow, has big sandbags blocking the swimming area, and it had a lot of green seafood washing up on it. We did not use it alt all. If the beach is not a huge priority, I would highly recommend this resort.

My first International Trip & with Family Members -13 total. It was Fabulous! Always something to do, view, eat or just relax either in your room or elsewhere. The only downfall we encountered was riding the Dolphins. The price this quite high & it should INCLUDE a photo of choice in a frame of each paid person VS another Extremely HIGH Priced photo afterwards- shame on them for that. I wish we would get that photo yet, as other family couldn’t even get CLOSE to take photos!

This was our second time staying at this property but our first time bringing our kids. We love this resort and we knew our kids would have an incredible time here and it did not disappoint. The food is incredible, something for everyone between the dinner buffets and restaurants for supper. The kids could not get enough of jumping off the cliff and playing water volleyball. We love that there is a "fun" pool with lots of music and activities but there are several other pools to choose from that are quiet and more relaxing. The coffee shop is also wonderful! We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this resort and would highly recommend to anyone.
