I had a good stay overall. The staff were excellent and very accommodating, and the bed was comfortable. I loved the mountain view. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but it provides a nice area to eat your own takeout. Be prepared that sleep will be interrupted occasionally by passing trains.

Convenient location, clean comfy rooms, included fridge, common areas are nice with microwave and automatic espresso machine. Great value and friendly staff. Train behind the building is loud in the morning. Basecamp provides earplugs, but they still need to invest in exterior soundproofing to minimize this major disturbance. Overall, an excellent value for low-cost accommodation outside Banff.
