very nice property, close to Palo Duro Canyon. 3 comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen (with a gas stove!!), nice living room and a separate dining room. Good HVAC. Nice neighborhood. Close to eateries. Somewhat close to highway and railway, which may be a concern if sensitive to noise. Very attentive host. FYI no soap or shampoo provided (unless left by previous guest), so BYOT (toiletries). They do have dish soap, dishwasher tabs, towels etc. Also hairdryer and ironing board, and washer/dryer (there was some detergent, but may have been left by a previous guest). Would stay again

We stayed at this location last time we were in Canyon. This is one of the cutest VRBO's I have seen! The hosts are truly the best, and the home is very well stocked and taken care of! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL!

This home was just perfect for our needs. We took a family weekend trip with 3 adults & a dog. It's located in a neighborhood of townhomes with a large park & walking trail. It was easy to find, centrally located near downtown. The home was very clean & quiet. 2 beds & 1 bath are upstairs. 1 bed & bath are downstairs. There's a tv in the living area plus the downstairs bedroom. No tv upstairs. All spaces were very clean, comfortable, but basic. Minimal toiletries were provided, bring what you will need, especially if staying more than 1-2 nights. We enjoyed a complimentary bottle of wine in the spacious dining room. Although the ice maker/water dispenser in the refrigerator wasn't connected, the host provided a bag of ice for the freezer. I was pleasantly surprised that there were 2 kinds of coffee makers; a drip and a Keurig (we're not fans of the latter but that's what we usually find when traveling.) Parking is just outside the front door. Although this home couldn't be called luxurious, the reasonable price reflects that.

Overall good property but somewhat dated. Clean, close in, quiet but in need of attention to some repairs. When we arrived a couple of men were working on the outside metal sheathing on the walls which had apparently been damaged a few weeks earlier (we were told by the workers) during a hailstorm Was not a problem for us but we wondered why it took weeks to get repaired. Overall it was a good place and we would consider using again when back in Canyon.

House was adequate, clean. Neighborhood was a bit sketchy. Our dog is perfectly fine to go on a leash but there was not a spot you could let your dog out.

Spring Break in Palo Duro

We really enjoyed our stay here during our time visiting Palo Duro Canyon. The house was a convenient and short distance from the state park, and it gave us a great base to go back and forth with our kids. The house was really nice, and the owners very helpful and responsive. We were really happy with the house and would definitely recommend for those visiting Palo Duro Canyon

Great location and comfortable stay

Overall, we enjoyed our 3 night stay at this STR. The house was great for my elderly parents with 1 bedroom downstairs and the other 2 bedrooms upstairs. The house was clean, and decorated nicely, has a good outdoor space, and we loved the location- it was easy access to the campus of West Texas A&M, grocery stores and other local restaurants. The park across the street was convenient as well. We unfortunately had a few hiccups that weren’t able to be resolved during our stay (the downstairs toilet wasn’t working properly, there was no ice or water from the fridge, and the living room fan wasn’t working). The owner was very apologetic for these inconveniences and was very responsive to inquiries and that was much appreciated. If these things would have all been working properly (mainly the toilet), then definitely would give this property a five-star review. With that in mind, if you’re needing a 3 bedroom 2 bath rental near the campus that sleeps 6 comfortably, then this house is otherwise a great option!
