Our villa is located in Pine Iceland South Westernmost and so the newest part of Cape Coral. Countless canals run through this area and make it so attractive to the region at the Cape. Tarpoon Marina and Cape Harbour Marina offer restaurants, bars and shops Yacht Club, 3 large supermarkets such as Publix and Walmart are nearby. Villa Pine Iceland is a central place to relax and have fun in the midst of an excellent infrastructure. Between 10 and 25 minutes will easily reach the beaches on the Gulf as well as shopping malls in Ft. Myers and south of it. The beaches in Captiva and Sanibel can be quickly reached by boat also from Cape Harbour from.

Great Place!

The pool was dirty and green when we got there on Saturday. Once we notified the owner she contacted the pool cleaning lady who took care of it that same day. It was fine the rest of the week. It was a great place and we really enjoyed the quiet and safe feeling of this home.

Frist family trip

We stayed from March 28th until April 7th of this year. It was our first family trip with our 4 kids and first time renting a VRBO. I booked based of the previous reviews and I am so glad I went with this home. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a big playground within walking distance. Many stores/ restaurant's are within a few miles. We chose a VRBO because we have a son with special needs. It is close to Ft. Myers beach and many other fun things to do. Communication with the host was very good and I would definitely recommend this home to anyone interested. Hope to get back soon. Neighbors were also wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Little Things Mean a Lot

We would have given a 5 overall, if there had been: -More than 2 dishwasher pods for the 7-day stay. (we left 4 for the next guests) -more than one hand soap pump (the only one available was almost empty), so we left an additional one for next guests -More than one wash cloth between 2 bathrooms, 4 guests -a 2nd kitchen garbage bag (at least) We did appreciate the ample bath, beach, hand & kitchen towels, the cleanliness of the house & pool area, the comfortable mattresses & furniture, the decor, the quality appliances & well equipped kitchen.

Great winter getaway

We really enjoyed our time here. Was a low key vacation away from the great white north and we spent a lot of time using the house and pool. Was awesome. Had questions about pool temp. And property manager got right back in touch with us and all resolved. We had fun using the German(?) card decks with the jacks and queens labeled D and B lol. Really messed up our euchre game. Only suggestion would be to make some plastic glasses available for use by the pool area. We only found glassware amongst all the dishes there.

It was lovely! The home was clean and comfortable. It had everything that we needed for our extended stay. The property manager and pool maintenance people were prompt to respond and very kind. We will be back next year. We loved the neighborhood!

Wonderful rental property

We enjoyed our stay at this home in Cape Coral. The house was beautiful and everything was in great shape for our arrival. It was well stocked with everything you'd need during your stay. The kids loved the pool. Anita was a pleasure to work with and was very timely in her responses as well. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a nice vacation spot with a lovely home. Thank you for making our trip so easy and pleasant.

Lovely home

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pine Island Villa. The home was comfortable and had nearly everything we needed. We loved the convenience of the pool, full kitchen, attached garage and laundry. The location was quiet with low traffic yet just a short drive to the shops.

Listing says luxurious heated pool. Our priority was to have a nice heated pool for the grandchild as well as our own health reasons. Upon arrival the pool was very green and slimy and the heater did not work. So our question became who was responsible for having this property ready to rent? We reported it immediately but it ended up taking 4 full days to get the heater running and then obviously another 2 days for the water to heat up, so in essence we lost a full week of usage. We asked for compensation in the form of reduced rent for an extra day or two and the owner denied it. Apparently he preferred to leave it up rented rather than have a satisfied renter. So after paying a premium to rent during high season, we were very disappointed #1 that the property was not ready and #2 they could have cared less, they had gotten their money. Beyond pool issues, the place needed a deep cleaning and less personal momentous. We certainly left it cleaner than we got it, but we find that to be an ongoing problem in rentals. Correspondence with vrbo was unsatisfactory as we had to take time out of our vacation daily to get updates as they did not call us as requested. Not exactly how you want to spend your vacation—-cleaning house and dealing with maintenance issues.

Great place to stay

The property was very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed for our vacation. The check in process was quick and smooth. The pool was warm and clean. Thanks to the pool service personnel who made sure the pool was cleaned and in proper working condition throughout our stay! The garage is open for guest use and stocked up with beach supplies, such as a cooler, beach chairs, umbrella and even two bicycles. We enjoyed dining outside by the pool at the large and comfortable dining table. The neighborhood was very quiet and pleasant. We had a great vacation at this welcoming home.

Perfect property for family!

Paradise found

This was the perfect getaway for old friends. We were close to everything and the property was excellent. The price was right and we had absolutely everything we needed. Any questions I had were promptly answered by the property manager. I would got back to this property again in a heart beat.

Very comfortable house and pool

We enjoyed our stay at Pelican. The house is nicely furnished and in good working order. We enjoyed the pool area as well. The only negative - at least to us - was the Master BR mattress; it is VERY VERY soft and after a few nights we had sore backs. We liked the Cape Coral area; many very good restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive. We made a good selection and would come back if in the area.
