Based on the fact that this is a budget hotel, the staff are amazing - endlessly helpful and patient with guests. We arrived when all the systems had gone down and the poor reception lady was being pulled in every which way - but she was still so polite, smiling and helpful.

Property ok. Beds clean. It is what it is but a bit high priced for what it is. Walkable to outlet centre and restaurants. Other than that nothing there, but it is on a service station :-)

Convenient for 1 night stay even to visit Swansea. If you have a EV even better as you can either put your car on charge across the way or have a starbucks whilst you wait or walk back to hotel.

In a desperate need of a refurbishment clean but shelves and desk very used desk has lost most of the pattern shelves edges breaking away wall need painting as the paint is coming of but the cleaners/staff are superb it keeping it to the best standard that could be achieved

Shabby un-chic.

A shabby example of a chain that appears to be racing to the bottom. We were somewhat irked that although the hotel is located ON THE MOTORWAY, "parking had to be paid for as the room was not booked directly" - this was not stated anywhere. Thankfully there was a Blue Badge space, although this was still chargeable. The room was in dire need of refurbishment; we won't be returning to see if this happens.

All you could need for a layover.

Couldn’t fault the place in terms of it’s all we were looking for and needed - we’d go back if we were doing a similar trip. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly. Close to a shop and a short drive to the town and about half an hour to Cardiff. Only fault was the place is in need of a bit of a face lift, but overall, very happy with the place.

A bit sad

We have been staying here for many years and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Our only dislike this time is they have started charging £5 a night for parking which would have meamt an extra £15 onto our stay. As we complained, did not see ir on our booking, Neal let us off with the fee this time but in future we shame have to pay. Sadly we my be using one of the other hotels in future.

Very Average Stay

We stayed here for three nights as we were travelling from Scotland for a funeral. I emailed the hotel 2 days before out stay asking if early check in would be an option however I did not receive a response. Given the long drive from up north I was aware that we would be arriving before check in so I made multiple attempts to phone the hotel to ask the aforementioned. Nobody answered. We arrived at the hotel around 1300 hours so I headed in to see if we could check in early. The male that I spoke with was very abrupt and said this was not an option even despite me willing to pay for this. We were told to return at 1430 and that they would maybe be able to give us access. When we eventually got in the room we observed it to be very spacious which was nice. However, the TV’s are in desperate need of an upgrade.
