Lovely hotel, spa was fantastic and very clean. Room was spacious, clean and modern. Reception staff were unreal, and breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel (and I stay at a hotel at least once a week with work). Would highly recommend.

Comfy bed, however the broken guttering led to a constant dripping of water which meant we had a very disturbed night sleep. Lovely pool, but the juccuzzi was switched off. As the jucuzzi was one of the reasons I booked the Park Plaza, having had a very stressful 6 months, and was looking forward to the relax; I felt let down. Lovely breakfast, staff helpful.

3pm check in and 12 noon check out are great 👍 However, room was very dark with barely any natural light. Had ordered twin beds but we got a double. Called front desk who said they were fully booked and couldn't offer anything other than single duvets. Not ideal as were friends sharing, not a couple. One sidetable was really dusty, cleaners must have missed this many times! Also had a room that could adjoin the one next door so not soundproof at all. No robes or slippers provided in the room but available for £10 hire fee - should state this in the booking blurb so guests are aware.
