Travelers who are looking for a clean, safe, affordable place to stay, and aren't much interested in frills, should find this establishment to their liking. People who want a swimming pool, exercise room and free breakfast should look elsewhere and pay more for those amenities.
This is a unique place. It's old and worn but not squalid. The room had a refrigerator (with a working freezer), small microwave, TV, comfortable bed and pillows, modern bathroom (with a working fan), in-room coffee maker. It seemed to be family business, and the man I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and neat.
The town nearby has everything a person might need, including a nice park with a sizable paved walking path, and a scenic view of the lower Delaware River and the big twin bridges going over it. The motel is very close to I-295 for easy access but far enough away that noise wasn't a factor.
This was my second time staying at this motel and I'll gladly stay there again next time I'm in the neighborhood.
