The air conditioner didn't work neither did the microwave. Because it doesn't have a front desk I just dealt with it since I was tired and it was late in the day when I arrived. This pretty much ruined by night as I brought food to eat that needed to be heated. In the morning, 15 minutes before leaving I get a knock asking if I needed anything. Come on. She was there making sure I left by check out at 11. I told her about the ac and the microwave. I also complained to expedia and to the motel through their text goodbye. I got a response saying if I had said something they would have moved me. and that the microwave wasn't plugged in. That is some classic gaslighting. Instead of apologizing and asking what could make it right they blame it on me? They didn't respond when I asked who was I supposed to ask about moving since there is no front desk. Yeah the customer service is all about them not the guest.

Clean and close to beach!

Great location. One street walk to shops and restaurants. 2 streets away to the beach. Clean, quiet and off street parking available. Will definitely visit and stay here again.

Carolina beach motel was very clean and well renovated. The location to the boardwalk was awesome. We did a single queen room and the room was very small. About a foot of space around each side of the bed and that was it. The shower was also very small. I’m 6’1 240 pounds and it was very difficult to shower at my size, but it did get me he job done. Overall it was a very clean room, comfortable bed, in a great location at a great price. We would probably stay here again.

Think smaller than a postage stamp ...

If you choose this hotel pick your room carefully and park early not much room. Speaking of the room even if it was pretty new fixtures it was by far the worst room we have ever stayed. It was in an alley way. Our small window looked on the beautiful site of two large propane tanks! We had to crab walk around the bed and climb over it to avoid the other person. Our dog couldnt find a place to lay down so went into the bathroom to sleep. Speaking of the bathroom... if you would like to take a shower in something that is as big as a coffin. This place is for you. If i hadnt paid so much to stay there it might have been laughable. We have stayed in small hotel rooms in europe but this beat anything you can imagine.also be careful of the cement la nding. It has no guard rails. Someone will get hurt

Great location, able to walk to the beach & a lot of dining options! Clean room, all good. Pity the pool looked great but still locked / closed. Bathroom @ room 13 had an issue with a way too short shower curtain that left the floor flooded every time.

I like the cozy and homey feel that we felt inside our room. Also, the property was very clean inside and out. It was nice and quiet, especially in the evenings, when you would normally expect to hear more commotion. The property is in the middle of all of the excitement as well. I also truly appreciate that the property's staff was in regular communication with me and they promptly answered any questions that I had during my stay. Will stay here again.

It was ok!

It was amazing trip. The only part that was bad was the shower. The shower wasn’t clean. Otherwise it was good. I let the manager know and I hope it will be clean for the next guest. I will not be back. Maybe some will see it as not important, but every guest should have a clean bathroom when they check in. That’s just good customer service. I’ve been in customer service for five years and I think that having a bathroom that’s not when I arrive is not good.

Very convenient to the beach. Parking area is very limited and tight. Noises can easily be heard from other units, bring a white noise machine to help have a good night's sleep. If on the first floor you will hear the occupants above walking around.

NOT FOR FAMILY STAY IS TERRIBLE WITH LITTLE CHILDRENS. Our deaf toddler got sick the first night , very thing walls we could hear All conversations, bathroom super tiny and we found poop on the toilet when we arrived . and due to the fact that our toddler got sick and was crying that made the guests bangs the walls and say shut up to us , we notified management of the problem and instead of them taking care of it they allow the guests to call the police on us because they heard our kid crying . Yes our toddler was in pain sick and we were trying to leave the motel that night we didn’t feel safe with those angry guests , no manager on sight you are on your own . We tried to ask for refund since we only spent 1 night out of 4 nights , management said they were sticking to their policy and not refund us or care to make us feel welcome or care for . We felt discriminated and unsafe . EVEN THE POLICE APOLOGIZED TO US FOR THE EVENT . This motel is TERRIBLE . NEVER AGAIN !!
