Excellent Trip

Location and amenities are exceptional. When elevator was not coming down upon arrival, property sent someone within 15 minutes to address the issue. The rental offers everything you could need and is a very short walk to the beach. Views are amazing and all bedrooms having their own bath is truly a benefit of this rental. The layout is spacious and very accommodating for all ages. All items are there for a great stay. Highly recommend.

Decent Condo with Tight Parking

Disappointed that the listing stated the condo had a hot tub but it did not. House was comfortable and roomy for our party of 7 people. Beach was very close by with an easy walk! Parking was a bit of a challenge underneath the condo, so we chose to park along the street.

A pearl in the clam shell

We had a fantastic time at the Clam Shell! The house was very clean and comfortable for our three generations to spend time together while each had their own space. There is a full kitchen and multiple covered parking spots and it was only a mile from dining out. The elevator made it very convenient for my 80-year old parents. There were fireworks over the board walk that we watched from the balcony at night and we could see the ocean and the sound during the day. The beach and the ocean were just a short walk away. We had a very relaxing time and will visit again!

Very accommodating beach house

This home is exceptionally clean and very well stocked!! It is very accommodating for large groups! All 4 bedrooms are large and all 4 bathrooms are very nice and roomy! Each bedroom has a tv which is a major plus for families/groups who have kids, teenagers and for those who want to watch something specific all day! The house is beautiful inside and out! Oh yea the elevator is a life saver!! Can’t wait until we are back in Carolina Beach cause we are getting this house again!! And management was easy to communicate with; David was awesome throughout the process!

First time renting a house at Carolina Beach. Interior space was well appointed and very comfortable. Views of the ocean and the marina area. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Elevator was super-helpful for older family members!

Wonderful stay at the Clam Shack

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clam Shack. A1 management was a pleasure to work with. Responsive and prompt with answers to any questions. We had a little trouble with our code when we arrived and with one phone call they were on top of it and even came out to make sure all was working for us. The house is very clean, plenty of seating, great balconies that get lots of shade and cross winds, rooms are large with ample storage and the bathrooms were great. We did not have any issues with the toilets and appreciated the hand soap pumps, hair dryers, and hooks to hang up towels. The kitchen is well stocked, and having the elevator to bring up all the grocery’s, luggage, and coolers was a huge plus! The parking was tight but we fit our van, truck, and suv just fine. We also utilized the extra space on the street which came in handy. Having a hose in the under house parking and on the porch was awesome. The pool was small but refreshing after a day at the beach and gets shade in the afternoon. The laundry room is spacious, had a drying rack and kept up with our constant use. The neighbors were friendly and the beach access was very close. The beach was beautiful and never crowded, it felt very private and clean.

Misleading ad, weird property owner onsite.

It was a really nice rental, but many problems. 1. Toilets 2 of 4 clogged several times on number 1s? 2. Porch was not swept 3. Elevator wasnt working and had 2 steep flights of stairs and my wife has a injured ankle real let down no refund as of yet. 4. Underhouse parking asadvertised was tiny, and should have said very compact cars only. Our 4 runner and our ram pu did not remotely fit. So we were threatened to be towed or move on the street of a 3 night 2k stay pretty upsetting. 5. The property owner would stare at us and our kids off her porch. We caught her loudly talking trash about our family to a neighbor. When we swam in the tiny shared pool she would stare at us from above and shake her head. Real piece of work. I would advise finding a different rental. We should be refunded but as of yet not a word at least 600 for all the issues.
