We had an issue with the bed. We slept in it one night but it was sunken in the middle and we both struggled because it felt like you were sucked into the middle of the bed. We were definitely not happy with that but we just had two days on the beach so we were trying to make the best of it. The next morning when we were getting ready, my husband sat on the edge of the bed and it broke. We contracted to owner right away. It till a little time to get a response but we let her know first thing in the morning. We let her know we would be out until after dinner and thought it would be taken care of. We got back after dinner and there was a bed frame sitting in the hall outside the door. She let us know that a handyman had stood her up and said “ if we don’t know how to put it together, she would refund the second night” . It was almost 8 at night and we had to find other accomodatikns… or make our own bed. Even then we tried to go with the flow, but then i got a message from her saying the damage was beyond normal wear and tear as if she was blaming us for the broken bed. We literally did nothing but sleep in the bed. after driving down there for 10 hours we just slept. That was the straw that broke the camels back.
