Well located hotel with comfortable rooms. However their breakfast area is very small for the amount t of rooms they have, so, if you come at the peak of the morning prepare yourself to wait standing up for quite some time.

Great location within walking distance to key points in the city and nightlife. Be aware hotel does not accommodate extra persons if not done during booking. Clean facilities. They offer breakfast for a few however central to many amazing restaurants. Cute balcony

Great Hotel Near the Walled City in Cartagena!

I traveled to Cartagena with my family and wanted to stay close to the Walled City. The location is only a few steps away to the walled city restaurants, shops, artisans, places of interest, and a beautiful exceptional view from our room window. The staff is very friendly, the place is impeccably clean, the room is a good size, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, the room has a small fridge very convenient, and room service is bringing in new towels every day. It was a great experience. The only thing that I would recommend is if you can't sleep with noise, know that around the wall city and its surroundings there's always party buses going by and bars going on until late. If you have a good attitude and don't mind, just make it part of your trip experience. :)

After initially being offered the room below the stairs and with no windows, it took a bit of time to sort out and get the room with the windows The service after that was good and breakfast as well As I had very little good experience with the staying in Cartagena, must congratulate the first hotel that we stayed as amazing and the breakfast, the staff etc, San Lazaro , the rest I would not choose again

Hotel Santa Cecilia was perfect for my time in Cartagena. It's a very easy walk to the walled city and just a block or two from the charms of Getsemani. I was glad to have this quiet hotel to come "home" to. The staff was excellent and my room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was great! I would definitely stay here again

Complimentary breakfast included was delicious and filling. The entire staff was friendly and so very accommodating. Beautiful views of the bay and walking distance to some great restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the clock tower entrance to the old city. Water pressure and temperature were my only “complaints” but I like my water hotter than most. This was a great place to stay and I do highly recommend it.

The hotel is actually on the second floor behind the doors, so the initial steps after the long day were not a welcome sight. Check in was smooth, but the internet was not working in our room, which apparently is ok. Had to spend time convincing staff to fix the issue, so they connected us to the admin network. Breakfast had options, the food was just ok. Booked the location thinking there would be a nice waterfront, which unfortunately is a marina, but the area is walkable and feels safe.
