Delirio Hotel was wonderful. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile, given a lovely local fruit drink and received detailed answers to all our questions about the area. Delirio's location is in the walled city, minutes from the sights, shopping and restaurants. We arrived early and were directed to great a place for breakfast, and our room was ready when we returned. Breakfast each morning is everything you want, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, croissants, omelettes, scrambled eggs and great coffee. The kitchen staff always have a smile and warm greeting. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The shower was amazing. We would sit with a glass of wine on our little balcony over the street to watch the world go by before heading to dinner. There is also a roof top terrace to visit if you don't have a balcony. I definitely recommend Delirio. And Cartagena is a special place to visit.

The breakfast was amazing and the service was great. We were in the last floor and we had the terrace to go out and see the cathedral from there. The room was a little bit small but clean.

Delirio was clean with the most lovely friendly staff. It’s a budget hotel, no frills but very clean & balcony room was a plus to see the views & street life . Unfortunately we were not warned of INSANE construction going on. The beautiful courtyard with pool does not exist - it’s full of scaffolding . Hammering & drilling at all hours until 7:30pm! We had to call the front desk daily to ask them to stop drilling in our wall, they would stop when we called but continued each day. Otherwise would be a great budget stay with pretty balcony view .

I made a reservation, but I had to change the date. I was able to reach once the hotel, but I was never able to reach them again to finish the process of changing the date. So I had to book another hotel, and i was not refunded. The hotel seems nice, but my experience with client service and refund was very bad.

Outstanding service and comfort

The hotel has an excellent location and a premium service. The room was clean and the has a balcony where I can drink my cup of coffee with an awesome view of the tower church.

This is the most unclean and cheap looking room I’ve ever stayed in. Not worth $160 a night. The room, shower, sink is very poor quality and with grime and rust. Cheap chipping paint. The floors and room emanate every single sound from the outside so we couldn’t sleep. There is no balcony or view. They only show you the best rooms in their photos. The stairs don’t even have hand rails which is so dangerous when walking down (I’m 6 mo. pregnant). The WiFi constantly went out so i ended up using a lot of data on my phone without realizing it. The concierge have a poor attitude about working. Look at you crazy if you ask them a simple question (we speak fluent Colombian Spanish). Won’t refill the waters in the lobby (pitcher always empty) and never brought us the juice they promised during check-In. Even when I asked for it he pitched be filled so I could have a glass of water, they didn’t want to. Even in the daytime, they’re not at their desk to buzz us in at the door. My goodness, we’ve stayed at many beautiful hotels in Cartagena for much less and better hospitality. This place was such a scam. The only exception was the nice gentleman that served us our eggs in the morning who was the only hospitable person.

Staff is great,but the hotel needs alot of work,it a bit rundown and the room are very small,The AC i think it been there since they open lol,it was just ok. Breakfast was fine,very little to choose from,but they did make your eggs for you. The service staff was GREAT all of them,very nice
