I was told I would be upgraded to a junior suite at the nearby building. Instead I was placed at the older property and my room faced the wall of the other building. Staff were excellent and breakfast was good.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed on the inside — stylish, clean, and visually appealing. However, my experience was soured by the check-in process. The staff lied to me, claiming they were upgrading me to a newer and better building. In reality, they tried to move me to an older, less maintained building that was clearly a downgrade. It felt deceptive and left a bad impression right at the start.

The property didn't honour the reservation made and sent us to a downgrade hotel. Service is below average. The hotel has very few amenities and it is located around a not pleasant zone of Cartagena.

I enjoyed my stay. Was upgraded to the Oz Hotel from the Oz Luxury. Not sure what the rooms looked like at the Luxury hotel but was happy the King room in the Oz Hotel. Friendly staff and breakfast was great! Will definitely return.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! I simply could not ask for a better location. Right by the beach, restaurants, supermarket, souvenir shops, close proximity to the airport and most attractions. I had a junior suite and let me say it was a beautiful room. The king sized bed was so comfortable. I slept really well! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure everything is to your liking and comfort. They’re also super accommodating and go the extra mile to ensure every need is met. The server working the breakfast bar was truly wonderful, every morning he offers to bring your coffee even though you can get it yourself. These are the little touches that are often overlooked but not at Oz Hotel Luxury. I highly recommend staying with them!

Aunque habia hecho una reserva para el Oz Luxury, me hicieron un "upgrade" al Oz normal. Al principio pense que me estaban jugando sucio, pero resulta que las habitaciones en Oz normal son mas amplias y tienen una cama King en vez de dos matrimoniales. Quede muy satisfecho con el desayuno, las instalaciones, la ubicacion y la comodidad de las habitaciones. Quede impresionado por la calidad del servicio, la amabilidad del staff y el hecho de que se desvivian por atendernos rapida y atentamente. No tengo ninguna queja mas que el primer dia la habitacion no estaba del todo limpia, pero eso cambio en los siguientes dias. Puedo sinceramente recomendar Oz como un hotel comodo y seguro.
