Overall, this is a lovely hotel and a great place to stay. The property felt like a small oasis — I really appreciated the pool areas with plenty of loungers and shade, and the location was very convenient. Breakfast was excellent, with both buffet options and made to order items, and all of the staff I interacted with were friendly and welcoming.
That said, I did have a disappointing experience at the end of my stay. I paid for a round trip airport transfer through the hotel. My pickup to return to the airport never occurred, and I ultimately had to order an Uber to ensure I made my flight. The hotel initially offered a cash refund, which I declined since I was leaving the country, and they agreed to refund the charge back to my card. I followed up in writing and received a cancellation confirmation noting the issue was on their end.
Unfortunately, despite following up again, I never received confirmation that the refund was processed and did not receive a response, which ultimately required me to dispute the charge with my bank. It was an unfortunate ending to an otherwise nice stay.
