The property was just as gorgeous as depicted in the photos! It was in a quieter section of Centro Histórico, but close to the busier shopping streets and clubs. This part of Cartagena is so beautiful, full of cultural sites and experiences and is completely walkable for those capable of doing so. I appreciate the need to access the property with a door code as well, adds to the level of safety.

So disappointed.

Our hopes of a wonderful end to our very long trip from Peru to Cartagena for rest and relaxation were very quickly dashed when we arrived at Privado Rooms and we were given a room by the entrance next to the road. We had booked a superior room btw. We asked to be moved upstairs where the atmosphere was much better but to little avail. Eventually after much negotiation we were given a room downstairs with no window which we had to pay extra for but it was away from the road. The place is fine, nice area, safe but overpriced, there are many better options in Cartagena. The swimming pool is a jacuzzi on the roof.

This little Boutique hotel is gorgeous. I adore the aesthetic of the hotel inside and out. Very clean, neat has a spa vibe I felt instantly relaxed as soon as i walked in. Always had very pleasant interactions with staff super professional, efficient and helpful. Breakfast at Cande in the mornings was an added delight. Would come back again because we had a very good experience but the balcony rooms were booked and we'd love one on our next stay.

The Provado Boutique Hotel was a great place to stay. Beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location near shops, restaurants, the ocean and clubs. I give 5 stars because I loved this place but must note: Coffee should always be included with rooms. Cold water shower is bearable. The Luxury Suite has hot and cold.

The location is great - walking distance to all landmarks, but still somewhat quiet, although there is music audible at night - pack earplugs. For $300/night, I expected more than a room without windows, cheap toiletries, and polyester blend linens - sleeping on them was sticky and uncomfortable. In addition, you do expect things like a bathrobe and slippers at this price point, but these were listed for an additional charge. No mini fridge it the room, either. Also WiFi went out the last day, and I had to walk out to the street to check into my flight. The staff are lovely and kind, and it was very clean.

Great small property on a (relatively) quiet street within the walled city. Friendly staff, generous breakfast allowance for a nearby restaurant, clean and well maintained. There is some noise from nearby venues, plus the street, but that is to be expected. My only disappointment was having a room right next to the front door of the hotel where the concierge is located. We had booked this reservation 8 months in advance and this feels like the last room you would assign to a guest. A very nice room, it just lakes a sense of privacy.

Nice hotel , no air-condition in common rooms only your hotel room, rooms arent sound proof as they mention we heard neighbors talking late nights in the adjacent room wake us up when they arrived yiu can cleanly herevthe conversations. Place is beautiful overall and in a great location. Staff is Marvelous

We were thrilled with the concept; it was precisely what we were looking for, during our time in Cartagena for an event, all we required was a cozy room, and that's exactly what we got. The bed was just right, the spacious bathroom allowed us to move freely, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurants in the vicinity were also fantastic.
