Casa Belvedere cottage with swimming pool in the heart of Chianti

The Casa Belvedere is one of the 4 houses of Borgo Montecastelli, and is located right on the border between the provinces of Siena and Florence. Due to its strategic position, straddling two valleys, Borgo Montecastelli enjoys a magnificent panorama from its summit towards the villages that surround it: Panzano, Radda in Chianti, Castellina in Chianti, as well as farmhouses, churches, and towers.

The house has a private square from which you can enjoy a fantastic view of the valley.

Casa "Belvedere" can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people. The house is furnished with original prints, paintings, and furniture from the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries to keep intact the charm linked to peasant culture and enhance a past so important for this area. The large vaulted entrance, once used as stables and shelter for animals, it introduces you to a lounge with a fireplace typical of the manor houses of the early 1900s and furnished with original furniture. On the first floor, you will have a living room, kitchen/dining room characterized by the large peasant fireplace, two double bedrooms and a further bedroom with two single beds, as well as a bathroom with a spectacular view of the valley. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, the old attic, where there is an anteroom lounge with two single sofa beds and a large double bedroom with a small private bathroom.

Leaving the house, and walking downwards, you will find the path that leads to the swimming pool among the olive trees. The pool is shared with the other 4 houses that are part of the "borgo".
