Welcome to Château La Redonde just a few kilometers away from Sarlat …
Stepping through its doors means treating yourself to a timeless escape in a 14th-century estate where historic prestige meets modern luxury.
Here, space and freedom are the keynotes: a private domain featuring 6 spacious bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, exclusively yours to enjoy, in the heart of Perigord Noir.
.Generous & Welcoming Living Spaces
The castle has been thoughtfully designed to host large families or groups of friends without ever feeling crowded.
- The Lounge & Dining Room: Vast rooms where ancestral stone walls meet contemporary comfort. A large banquet table awaits you for memorable dinners, even on rainy days.
- A Chef’s Kitchen: Fully equipped for the art of entertaining (oven, microwave, dishwasher...), it is the heart of the home, perfect for preparing your “perigordian” feasts.
- Privacy for All: With 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, the property ensures intimacy for every guest. On the first floor, a peaceful reading room invites you to escape, while on the second floor, children have their own dedicated space with a connected TV room.
.The Art of Outdoor Living
Imagine your mornings on the panoramic terrace or long lunches in the shade of the rear garden.
With two outdoor dining areas and a BBQ, the castle celebrates alfresco gastronomy.
- The Private Pool: A true balcony overlooking the valley, our Roman-step pool is an invitation to unwind. Fully fenced for the safety of the little ones, it features a pool house with a refrigerator and an outdoor shower.
- Connectivity: High-speed fiber optic internet ensures a reliable Wi-Fi connection throughout the entire house and even into the gardens.
Immersion in the « Valley of 1001 castles » Backing onto a majestic forest, the castle is the perfect starting point for hiking, running, trail, or mountain biking.
- Adventure & Nature: The Dordogne River is just 1.5 km away. Rent a canoe, pack a picnic, and pull up on a wild beach for a refreshing dip in the river.
- Protected Heritage: The legendary castles of Beynac and Castelnaud are at your doorstep. Wander through Sarlat, Domme, or La Roque-Gageac, all just a few minutes’ drive away.
.Gastronomy & Local Flavors
The Périgord is to be tasted as much as it is to be visited. Don't miss the famous Saint-Cyprien market on Sunday mornings, Le Buisson on Fridays, or Sarlat on Saturdays.
- Our Local Gems: Lucco pastry shop and the Boucherie de la Vallée (butcher) are just 5 minutes away by car, or treat yourself to the Michelin-starred Le Petit Léon, a 30-minute drive.
