Our house has been largely furnished in a classic Ligurian style, with some pieces from the early 1900s. The large outdoor area enjoys a splendid open view of the Val Petronio. You will find, at your disposal, sunbeds, deck chairs, chairs and table for outdoor lunches or dinners, sun awnings. In addition, a large barbecue area, some showers also with hot water and some fountains. In the house, on request, children's games, high chair, cot with side bars. We will however be happy to try to fulfill any other requests from you when booking.

Guests have access to the entire outdoor area. The house you will live in is on two floors. On the lower floor you will have three beds available in the large entrance area. A king size wall bed always ready, with a 20 cm mattress of the latest generation. With a simple movement, the ready-made bed lowers and incorporates the sofa under the structure. So not a simple sofa bed but a very comfortable bed with an integrated daytime sofa. Furthermore, always in the same large compartment, a single bed cabinet, with excellent wooden slats. Obviously a wardrobe, the bathroom with shower, a large chest of drawers, a desk. In the compartment next to a large kitchen with marble top equipped with everything you need: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, kettle, marble fireplace, a large classic sideboard, vintage refrigerator in line with the home furnishings, a beautiful table in solid olive wood that can be extended and comfortably accommodates 8 people if desired. Two French windows access to the terrace.
An internal marble staircase will allow you to go upstairs where you will find an entrance area with table and chairs and the possibility of cooking on the floor, another refrigerator, a living room with double sofa bed, wardrobe and desk table. A bedroom with a canopied double bed, another single bed with wooden slats, a large wardrobe and a large bathroom with tub and shower. In addition, a covered balcony for study use. The whole house is equipped with wifi network and two televisions with international channels. Access to the first floor is also guaranteed with an independent entrance using an external staircase. The equipped outdoor area is arranged in terraces, a large barbecue area and 700 m2 at your disposal.

The historic center of the village is very suggestive. In the evening, also lit on the floor, it becomes a gem. We recommend moving with your car in the surrounding areas but there is also a bus service to Sestri Levante with a stop 50 meters from home. At the same distance you will find the main services: the tourist office, the post office, the bank, the pharmacy, two grocery stores, a tobacconist's shop, a well-known butcher shop, a clothing store and a trattoria bar. The nearest supermarket is about 3 km away. Varese Ligure, the first BIO municipality in Europe, is about 15 km away. You will also find a riding stable a few hundred meters below our house. The Gulf of Tigullio and "its" hills behind it, are a magical environment where there are countless possibilities for activities of all kinds. Furthermore, history is also of considerable importance .... Known already in Roman times, the municipal territory of Castiglione Chiavarese probably marked the border between Ligurian and Etruscan culture. Traces of the Romans are evident on the territory with the remains of bridges, objects and lime quarries; from literary sources it is clear that the village of Velva, in the municipality of Castiglione Chiavarese. In the municipal area there is the possibility to visit ancient bridges and roads from the Roman era and also you can admire a Roman refueling station and tavern, a rare thing because there are few finds of such works along the Roman roads, in this case along the Via Aurelia.

Traces of the Romans are evident on the territory with the remains of bridges, objects and lime quarries; from literary sources it is clear that the village of Velva, in the municipality of Castiglione Chiavarese has Roman roots. In the municipal territory you can visit ancient bridges and roads of the Roman era and you can also admire a station of supplying horses and tavern from the Roman period, something very peculiar because there are few finds of such works along the Roman roads, in this houses along the Via Aurelia.
