The hotel is really nice, love the pool, the views of the mountains are beautiful from the rooms.
The bad is that the 2 times I have been here i reserve a travel package(flight, hotel,auto rental) through a 3rd party (Expedia).
Not sure how the system here at the The Westin Hotel is set up, or if its done by management as a form of insurance to cover themselves, but i walk in on arrival day, check in, everything goes great!!
Next morning when I wake up, there is always a withdrawal for the full amount stay on my card!!! Even tho the trip, hotel has already been paid! So instead of me enjoying my coffee , enjoying the mountain view with my family, i have to be downstairs going back and forth with the people at the front desk.
No apologie. Just a my Mgr went ahead and reverse it, we had to go into another system to see the the Expedia transaction.
The first time they did this move to us they took all of our little extra spending money while on a 3day vacation. We had to change our diner plans, and destinations due to lack of funds. I asked if they would be willing to cover diner at their restaurant because of the inconvenience and trouble and I was offered 2 drink voucher.
Please be careful when staying here at the westin hotel when on a budget and when booking through a 3rd party.
To The Westin Hotel, please,please, please train your management and front desk associates on 3rd party booking, it becomes a huge inconvenience.
