I had a room with a balcony overlooking the water, and a complementary bottle of wine. So we’re starting at a five. Minus one for mediocre breakfast and enormous difficulty getting to the place with a car.

Fabulous stay.

Great hotel in a fabulous location. Recommend a room overlooking the water. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and varied.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location for exploring Gdansk and enjoying the atmosphere of the old town. The hotel is spotless, our bedroom was large with very comfortable seating and beds and the breakfast was delicious. The provide Prosecco with the breakfast buffet included in the price which we enjoyed. Staff were friendly and we were able to store our luggage on our last day before our evening flight. When we collected the luggage we were able to use a downstairs seating area and toilet to freshen up before heading to the airport. I’ve reduced the score for property condition and facilities due to the room key being very difficult to turn in the lock. This meant we had to fiddle with the key each time we tried to get in and out the room. Also the room we had was on the top floor and had a combed ceiling, in the bedroom the ceiling height was huge but the bathroom was tucked under the comb and the placement of the shower made it very difficult to stand under the water. My husband and I who aren’t overly tall, 5’6” and 5’8” both struggled and found it very awkward. This room would not be good for anyone over this height as they simply would not fit in the shower. Otherwise a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend to others and will stay again.

Nice hotel in a very convenient location - you can easily get to main attractions, plenty of restaurants and bars around. A bit old fashioned rooms, but with its own charm - I personally quite liked it. All staff were very friendly and helpful - 5* for the reception desk! Thank you for the lovely hospitality.

Hotel Hanza.

As pleasant as before. Kindly, they honoured my requeats which enabled for a more peasant stay, dziękujemy. Presently some works near by which sees reduced riverside foot traffic and minimal noise disruption. A la carte breakfast is plentiful and served until noin in a light, open spaced venue, with al fresco options. Previously visited the restaurant when residing elsewhere. Zafishowani restaurant is ideal for seafood and away from the busier Chimles st equivalents such as Tygle and True. From memory, the trout and mussels were good. Thank.you, bye.

Hotel Hanza

Arranged for many clients to stay here over the years, was a first time for me to reside here. Breakfast is plentiful oncluding cooked vegetables such as courgette and mushroom, for those who dont care for continental. Would prefer more interesting sweet options and flour free plus berries. Assortment of milks. Observed most groups of travelers (predominatly Brits and Irish, both prone to excessive drinking) take the hotels with inevitable noise as they loiter and debreif each evening. Aside from the guest occupant it is a fine place to reside with fridges and complimentary water. Would prefer if breakfast could be taken until 12pm but the eatinf area is mice and light. I wasnt made aware of the gym or where the foyer bathroom is. I think around 230-1630 to have 2 staff of check in for receiving new guests without rushing and addressing queries of current guests. I liked the check in and check out time it is more considerate than most hotels. Ladies on the desk are nice and staff in the kitchen polite.

Excellent in all areas!

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Spacious rooms, great location and excellent breakfast. They let us check in early, very friendly staff and the fudge at the front desk was delicious! We ate in the restaurant for dinner and it was very good also. If I ever return to Gdansk I will definitely stay here again.
