Off-Grid Retro Trailer in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest
This unique retro-camper is located in Chatham, New Hampshire. Perfect for a secluded weekend getaway. In the main living space, glampers will find a comfortable double bed and seating area with table. Outside, guests will find a private fire pit, chairs, and solar lights. Guests can enjoy a quiet evening listening to the myriad of barred and horned owls calling to each other in the forest. Located on Toad Hill, a remote 45 acre property surrounded by pristine forest in the heart of The White Mountains. There is lots to do and see in the area. Hike, bike, snowmobile or ski from the door to waterfalls, ponds, or just around the property in search of birds and wildlife. Take a day trip to Province or Mountain Pond for both swimming and fly fishing. Toad hill also host a summer music festival and has beautiful sculptures around the property. Perfect for people trying to get away from life and into nature!
Please note that there is no running water and limited solar power electricity in this accommodation. Bring a few items including sleeping bags or sheets, pillowcases, and blankets as well as food and utensils, cookware, flashlights, and water or a water purifier. The host asks that guests practice "leave no trace ethics" during their visit. There is an outhouse located near the barn. In the winter car access is limited and guest will have to hike to their accommodations.
