Béatrice & Pierre open the doors of an authentic "caretaker's house" carefully restored, once linked to the very elegant neighboring mansion steeped in history that they occupy, also perfectly restored (former hunting lodge dating from 1860), nestled in the peace and quiet of a charming intimate property, nestled behind a "vegetal barrier", on the banks of the Loire, a preserved natural site classified as a "Natura 2000 Zone" for the quality of its exceptional plant & animal biotope (migration, reproduction and nesting axis for many species including some very rare / fish, amphibians, mammals, birds ...). Total tranquility in the heart of a peaceful residential hamlet located on the edge of a small typical village bordered by the "Canal tranquille" leading from Roanne to Digoin (nautical stop on site with lock offering an unusual spectacle as pleasure boats pass), also equipped with a multi-sports playground. A literal haven of peace and relaxation, just a stone's throw from the soothing Brionnaise countryside. Spacious, comfortable cottage. The rooms are generously sized. A warm, slightly vintage feel, worthy of a cozy country house, combined with the exotic feel of the place (rich traces of the original building: stone fireplace mantel, beams, remains of an old bread oven, etc.).
