Pic Janvier is a well-equipped two-bedroom, two-bathroom demi-chalet sleeping up to 6 guests with use of the sofa bed (maximum 4 adults). Located in the peaceful and popular village of Les Praz, it is just a 2-minute walk from the new Flégère gondola, providing direct access to the excellent Brévent–Flégère ski area. Guests benefit from a private south-facing patio, while the wood-burning fireplace adds a cosy touch to the open-plan living space. The chalet also offers off-street parking and ample storage for skis, bikes and golf clubs.

**The Location**

Pic Janvier is situated in the beautiful Chamonix village of Les Praz. Here you will find a selection of popular restaurants, cafés and bars in a peaceful setting, perfect for relaxing after a day in the mountains. The chalet is also less than a 5-minute walk from the recently renovated Flégère gondola.

In winter, the lift provides easy access to the largest of Chamonix’s ski areas — the connected Brévent–Flégère domain. In summer, the Flégère gondola is the starting point for one of the most famous hikes in Chamonix, leading to the stunning Lac Blanc. The renowned Chamonix Golf Club is also within easy walking distance of the chalet.

Chamonix centre can be reached by car in just 5 minutes or on foot via a scenic riverside path in around 20 minutes. Public transport is also convenient, with a bus stop located just a couple of minutes from the chalet. Pic Janvier is perfectly positioned for guests seeking a peaceful village atmosphere while still enjoying easy access to local amenities.

**The Details**

Pic Janvier is a demi-chalet arranged over three floors.

The ground floor features a modern open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a fireplace and TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The living area opens onto a private south-facing patio with outdoor table and chairs.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms, each with an adjacent bathroom featuring a shower, basin and WC. One bedroom has twin beds, while the other has a double bed.

The top floor is a mezzanine with a sofa bed and storage area. Due to the low ceiling height, we recommend this sleeping area for children up to the age of 10.

The property also includes a large garage with direct access into the chalet, suitable for storing skis, bikes and golf clubs, and which houses a washing machine. In addition, there is private off-street parking for one car directly in front of the chalet.

**What’s Included**

Self-catered bookings include bed linen and towels based on the standard guest configuration. If your apartment includes a sofa bed and you require additional linen to accommodate maximum occupancy, a supplementary linen fee of €25 will apply.

The rate also includes end-of-stay cleaning and the local taxe de séjour (tourist tax), which provides access to a Carte d’Hôtes. This card grants complimentary use of local trains and discounts on museum admissions and other attractions.

Standard check-in is available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with check-out required by 10:00 AM. Please note that late arrivals may incur additional charges.

If your apartment permits pets, additional fees apply. Dogs are charged at €15 per night per dog; however, cats are not permitted in any **Alpes Agency** apartments.

**Payment Terms and Cancellation**

To confirm your booking, a deposit of 10% of the total cost is required. In addition to the accommodation fee, a local tourist tax of €4.60 per adult per night will be charged.

The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the card provided 30 days prior to arrival. You will receive an email notification before the balance is processed.

If you cancel your booking via email up to 30 days before arrival, you will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.

Please note that a temporary damage deposit of €250 will be charged on the day of arrival and held for the duration of the stay. The deposit will be released after check-out, subject to a satisfactory property inspection.
