Amazing Views

This was our 3rd time to Chamonix and we knew this location well though not the property. The main living area is very nice, plenty of room, comfortable. Guest bedroom bed firm and comfortable and has the en suite bathroom. The tub is very high, my husband and I are quite tall and we had to be careful. Washing machine easy, kitchen has all pots/pans for cooking. Nothing is provided in the kitchen like paper towels, coffee, sugar, oil, etc. Previous guests have left salt and some rice, etc and we left coffee pods, sugar, paper towels. No extra toilet paper was provided. There was 1 roll per bathroom and we were 3 people for 5 days. We had to buy more. Main bedroom- pink carpet, soft mattress, and crumbling concrete balcony that tracks in with you. The bathroom is not en suite but is renovated and very nice. Pay attention to the keys you are given. We were told that the 2 extra keys on the main fob weren't important but they are! We left the main set in our car and just took the room key when we took our luggage up. When you leave the garage, you are locked out on every level. There is no way to re-enter the garage on any level without the gold key on the main fob. There are locked doors and locked gates at every entrance. The good things were a great cross breeze in the evenings and wide-open, unobstructed views of the mountains and really good cappuccino at the local empanada cafe just down the street.

Beautiful View bring your own supplies

We enjoyed our week stay here; the view was beautiful. The place is a bit outdated, but it worked. My only major issue was the lack of supplies on arrival there was very small roll of toilet paper, no additional trash bags, no coffee pods to at least welcome us into the apartment and no type of paper towel. Basically, we had to immediately go to the grocery store. I have stayed in several places, and this is the first time I had to go and immediately buy toilet paper. So, if you want to stay here bring your own supplies or prepare to go grocery store. I felt like I paid for the View and location that is all.
