If you are looking for a picture-perfect alpine getaway, this apartment, tucked under the wooden eaves, with uninterrupted views of the mountains, is the ideal holiday destination all year round.

On the first floor of an independent, traditional chalet, set in extensive gardens, this apartment sleeps 6 people. The décor is alpine, but with a contemporary twist. The living area is flooded with sunlight thanks to two skylights and two French windows which lead out onto a wooden balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the stunning mountain views. Back indoors in the living room, there is a large sofa, coffee table and a Smart TV. The dining area, with a wooden table that seats 6, is next to the open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge and drip coffee machine.

Location
The chalet is in a very quiet part of the village of Argentière, close to the forest, but just a 5-minute walk from the cable car for Les Grands Montets skiing area and shuttle buses. The nearby slopes are ideal for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some of the higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May.

All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep. Argentière station for the Mont-Blanc-Express is just a 15-minute walk away, offering free railway services in the Mont Blanc valley. During the summer months, the choice of activities is endless; stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding.

The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. For self-catering, Argentière’s weekly market is on Sunday mornings (in season) for the freshest local produce. Geneva airport is a 1.5-hour drive from the apartment.
