If your main goal is to explore Chamonix, this hotel may not be the most convenient option. Although shuttle service is technically available, it was not accessible after the initial check-in pickup, which was disappointing. The hotel is located about 8 minutes away by taxi, but you’ll need to spend at least €25 each way, which quickly adds up. Because it’s far from the town center, it’s not possible to return to the hotel during the day to rest. This made it difficult to enjoy the afternoons, as there wasn’t much to do at the hotel itself. Overall, the location made our stay less flexible and enjoyable than we had hoped.

Great location and family oriented hotel on the outskirts of Chamonix. Really good breakfast and dinner club within the hotel. Only the pool area was a little too busy to be enjoyed as it was too noisy to give a proper spa experience. Otherwise a great overall hotel with a unique family and 80s vibe

Air con did not get cold at all even though we were told it had been fixed. Bath didnt drain even after they told us it had been fixed. Wasn't the cleanest, had to clean our own toilet seat when we got there and towel was stained. Staff were friendly. Lounging area outside with views of the mountain is great.

It’s best value for money. Great location with free outside parking. You get a view of Aiguille Du Midi and Mont Blanc from the property and swimming area. Great amenities including Kids play area, Arcades, Foosball, Billiards table, Swimming/Jacuzzi and Sauna. Honestly, you get a feeling of a resort for a fraction of the price. Rooms are decent. The only catch is that air conditioning does not work great but you can still have a comfortable sleep as the temperature drops at night and you can open the window for fresh air.

Everything about this hotel is great.we had a nice 1 week stay here.staff is helpfull and friendly.reception staff speak good english.house keeping everyday.nice swimming pool,jacuzi and sauna.nice reataurant area with good food..views of mont blanc is breath taking from window. Hotel is located 8 min drive from chamonix town. Highly recommended.

Great location if you have a car, easy to get everywhere from here, lots of beautiful places around. Rooms were clean and mountain view was great. Lobby, dining space, sauna, pool and jacuzzi were nice and cozy. I really liked the dinner menu, especially the chicken. Breakfast were always same, but quite okay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Big Sky in Chamonix. The location is breathtaking—right next to Mont Blanc. I highly recommend booking a mountain view room like we did; the view was absolutely worth it. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, and we especially appreciated the extra touches like the pool table and arcade games, which added a fun, relaxed vibe. There’s also a pool and spa on-site, though we didn’t have a chance to use them. The restaurant was decent, though lacked options for kids, so if you’re traveling with children, that’s something to keep in mind. The surrounding area doesn’t have many shops or restaurants, so you’ll need a car to get into the town centre. The nearby village, however, is charming and worth exploring. A big plus for us was that the hotel is pet-friendly. They gave our dog a warm welcome and even set up a personalized sleeping area—such a thoughtful gesture! One odd detail: we were told in advance that we needed to reserve underground parking to access EV chargers, but that turned out not to be true. There are chargers available in the free outdoor lot. Unfortunately this lot was a bit chaotic—spaces were limited and cars were parked in handicap spots, bus spaces, and EV charging spots without much oversight. Overall, a great stay with incredible views and friendly touches—just be aware of the parking situation and bring a car if you want to explore.
