Gym had no ventilation or airconditioning, had to be escorted to the gym instead of it being open with a passcode or badge and 3 levels below parking garage. Laundry services not available as self serve on site. Dirty stairwells, extra cost for parking, nowhere to hang clothes safely outside without concern for theft (no private balcony)

Just Get a hotel! Do not bother with hotel apartments! The problem with this kind of facility is the lack of amenities. There’s no ice machine, a dedicated iron for every room, enough cups and coffee, towels, TV channels, and so on. Also the bathroom and shower do not have full doors( and it’s glass) !!! So you have very little privacy. The fan is not strong. Additionally, it lacks privacy, as the rooms open into hallways, making it difficult to open the curtains. Late-night guests, smoking and drinking, disturb the peace. The mini fridge doesn’t cool enough! The hairdryer in the bathroom didn’t work properly. The plugs are not working. Also the picture they advertise on the travel sites do not match the room you get. ( what you see is not what you get ) Simple things are missing from this facility. It do not disturb sign that you can simply hang on the door. Cleaning crew knocked once every morning and walked in. We had to repeatedly ask for no housekeeping. The Internet was extremely slow. The TV in the bedroom has 10 channels, all local nothing international and they are all low quality. There is an AC, but the living room and bedroom are out or sync, you have a cold living room and a very warm bedroom. On the positive side, the location is convenient, with pharmacies and grocery shops nearby. Big closets and enough furnitures in the rooms.

Very spacious room with good amenities including easy and affordable flat rate paid parking, fridge with freezer, and washing machine (no dryer). Staff refreshed the room every two days. Moderate walking distance from Chania old town. The walk is about 20 mins and does go through some rougher less clean streets. Elderly or young families would likely have difficulty with the walk back and forth.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the Trianon for the third time, and each visit has been just as enjoyable as the last. The rooms are not only spacious but also exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing a welcoming retreat after a day of activities. The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. In addition to its excellent accommodations, the area boasts a wide selection of fantastic restaurants within walking distance, offering a range of cuisines to satisfy any palate. One of the standout features of the Trianon is its underground parking, a major convenience for travellers with vehicles. The parking area is also kept in impeccable condition, making it both safe and accessible. Overall, I highly recommend the Trianon for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.
