Excellent ownership

Quiet.

I'd contacted the owner a few days before my trip, and he sent me a picture of the address signs to help me find the property. When i was heading to the cabin, the address took me to a mine. I looked at the address signs again, and changed it to look for the township listed on the sign, it took me directly there (keep that in mind if you book, it helps the trip start out much easier) When I arrived, the generator wouldn't run on propane, just gas, so I sent a text to Scott who's number is listed on the fridge. As the local maintenance man for the property, he is awesome and very helpful! He came out with the parts to fix it, and ended up replacing the supply line for the propane. He also brought out extra firewood since a bad storm was coming in, knowing I'd most likely stay in the cabin. He also came out to plow the road Sunday evening to make sure I could get out Monday when I was leaving. *note, this is about a mile back a 2 track, so after a foot of fresh snow that followed freezing rain, it was quite a bit of work*Overall, it's a beautiful cabin, and Scott the maintenance man as the local representative of the rental is a great "face of the property" I'll definitely stay again.

This 5-hr drive from Chicago made for a very relaxing week away from the city for our family. We made great use of a ready supply of firewood and enjoyed several evenings in the hot tub/pool spa under the stars. The cabin is very well appointed; it’s new construction and reflects thoughtful design and upkeep throughout. We certainly hope to return.
