Parking was an issue & I paid for a room with an oceanview but couldn't see the ocean. When we walked out onto the balcony area we were told by another guest it was only for the room that was closer to the balcony.

It is a good hotel for a couple of nights. It is right on the beach. Staff is nice. Building is old. It gets loud at night if there is a band playing next store.

Fully realizing that being on the beach comes at a premium, at $400 a night you would think that some great service and amenities would help us be forgiving of the towel bar falling out of the wall, no amenities except water and a couple bins of cereal, parking still charged. At that rate you would think they could at least update the facility. Don’t recommend.

Loved the beach front access, however all of the walking surfaces outside from the rooms were quite slippery and in need of repair. The parking garage was difficult to use and not gated. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels available and the bedding was clean. But the bathroom needs to be updated and made to be safe. Shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and there were no non-skid strips or rails for a slippery tile shower. Toilet seat and sink were loose. Staff were nice and helpful.

I liked that there was unlimited free water bottles and extra towels were very easy to access. The pancakes at breakfast were delicious. Don’t bother with ‘partial ocean view’. Try for something on the 1st floor for best access to the ocean.

The room I stayed in was horrible. Room 310. I realize the hotel is on the beach and have stayed at other at other such accommodations elsewhere but the overwhelming smell of stagnant sea salt was horrible. The floors did not feel clean so we wore flip flops the whole time in the room. The bathroom layout is a joke. The tiles shower looked disgusting so again we wore flip flops. The curtain was not long enough so our bathroom floor was flooded every day. The shower does not have a place to put your shampoos and soaps so that was part of the flood issue. Have to open the current to grab soap, shampoo, conditioner. Finally the toilet paper holder fell off the wall during our stay. The good I have to give is this place is in a great location for a quiet get away. If the owners want help making this place all it can be please reach out.
