We loved our stay. The hotel is beautiful, seems brand new. The bathroom and amenities were great! The bed was very comfortable. The turndown service with baked goods was so nice! We loved the homemade granola, included delicious breakfast, free snacks in the room and drinks and snacks available all day in the lobby. We didn’t make it to the happy hour, but it sounded great. Would love to stay again! We highly recommend! We also enjoyed the free bicycles and helmets.

Everything was very clean easy walking to areas around the waterfront. The only issue was we were disappointed with the breakfast and the early evening snack. Better choices and quality of food was expected for the price of the room.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Loutrel. The property is beautiful. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice. The location was perfect. It was very close to so many dining options, shopping, close to the water, and the beautiful French Quarter area. I would highly recommend this place.

Our stay at the Loutrel could not have been better! The staff was so friendly. The welcome cocktail, free snacks and drinks, lounge, happy hour and breakfast were such nice touches!!! The hotel location was amazing….we walked everywhere! The room was classy and beautiful. Everything seemed brand new and so clean. We would absolutely come back to this lovely hotel!!!

The Loutrel is an exceptional experience. From the sincerely warm greeting when you arrive to the always incredibly kind staff, the complementary snacks and beverages as you walk through the beautiful lobby, the daily Maid service who’s always asking what they can provide to make you most comfortable AND leaving kind notes on the door every day, the evening turn down service accompanied with a personal hand written note and fresh pastry each evening, the fine & freshened linens / towels daily, and on my last visit there was a seven block power outage in the late evening and within minutes members of the staff were walking the halls distributing flashlights to all of the Guests! Each of my four stays over the past 18 months has been consistently exceptional. KUDOS to The Loutrel.

Review of The Loutrel Charleston

Great location but on quiet street. Everyone was so attentive and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was lovely and the main hot entree was different every morning. Unfortunately we kept missing the 4-5pm cocktail hour on the rooftop so will have to try that next time. The beds were comfortable and we had daily cleaning service. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 4 nights. It is conveniently located in the French Quarter. The are many restaurants and bars that are within the area. Everyone we spoke to from check-in to check-out was pleasant. The rooftop happy hour was a great way to relax and have a drink vefore dinner. The complimentary breafast was tasty as well.
