Stayed at this hotel for a family get away, staff was so friendly, room was nice, nothing fancy but suited our trip. Loved the free breakfast! I would stay again!

Breakfast was nor qell stocked and what was there was cold, greasy. Poor quality. Tge lobby was dirty, walk off marts dirty, glass dirty, seating was worn and fabric coming off. Room was ok but the shower was dirty above the reach of the cleaning staff.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The girl checking me in never made eye contact with me. She gave me no information about the hotel. I had to ask how to find my room. I was not told the WiFi password. I could not find an ice machine, it would be helpful to have a sign or told at check-in. When I went to the lobby the front desk girl were folding towels on a table next to the bar with many people around, this does not seem very sanitary, and I would not use the towels.

Staff was polite, but didn’t clearly communicate info at check-in. Side door to the building didn’t work with the room key and we were traveling with our dog, so we had to walk half way around the hotel to get back inside. We checked out earlier than necessary to find housekeeping loudly cleaning the room across the hall a blocking the hallway with their cart.

Handicap accessible room

Room was noted as handicap accessible but was very poorly set up. Shower door opened opposite of wheelchair, sink too large and in the way, shampoo on opposite wall from shower head for person unable to turn around, only one handrail in shower and it was about 9 inches long, shower ledge not large enough for even skinny person to sit on, faucet on sink very far back and hard for wheelchair person to reach, toilet not elevated, hand rail by toilet ineffective, bench on wall located shortly after entering room blocking easy access for wheelchair.

Great place!

This place was great!! We unfortunately have run into bed bugs in the Charleston area before but this place was spotless and the staff was super nice. It was even nicer than we expected. We’ll definitely be back on road trips.
