We enjoyed our stay at this tranquil cabin. It is perfectly sized for a small family. It is very close to downtown Matthews but still feels like you are tucked away in natureThe only drawback was not having a few more cookware items to cook a full dinner for multiple people

We found this little gem of a place to stay in Matthews on VRBO while visiting our daughter and grandchildren. Easy to find, perfect location, close to shopping and restaurants. It's cleverly decorated in all black and white giving it a special charm. Well stocked with necessities and very clean. property manager was very responsive! Would definitely stay again.

I was not familiar with the area travelling here, and for the area I guess it is set back from the road, but property was not secluded and on a busy street. Also, the creek is down quite a steep drop. This did make me nervous having my little ones outside, even with close supervision. Sadly, the beds and bedding were very low quality as well. No tv either.

Super clean and well situated

We would highly recommend this beautifully decorated and immaculately clean cabin. Since it’s tucked back off the road, it is very quiet at night. We enjoyed sitting with our coffee on the front porch and enjoying the trees and birds. It’s close to the 4 mile greenway. We walked into downtown Matthews on this paved trail and enjoyed the shops. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

Comfortable, Clean and Convenient

This cabin is exactly as described and it fit ours needs perfectly. It was comfortable and in a great location; close to the town of Matthews, local parks, shopping, etc. It was also one of the cleanest properties I have rented. The check in process was easy and the host was attentive and communicative. I would return and also recommend this property to others.

What a cute comfy place!

My daughter (18) and I stayed here for a business/pleasure trip and what a great little place! Comfy beds, great bathrooms, absolutely perfect location for exploring the area. Love the black and white contrasting decor.

Everything and More

This cabin is in a perfect location close to the highway, shopping, side day trips (Monroe Treehouse Vineyards) and downtown Matthews as well as uptown Charlotte. (Don't miss the Museum of Illusions.) It is private, quiet and safe. My partner especially liked being so close to the walking paths and walking around the park. Check in and out were very easy and communication with the host was fast. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the cabin and how well stocked the kitchen was, how many supplies (toiletries and cleaning) were provided and how comfortable the beds were. All linens were of good quality and ample.The room darkening drapes made sleeping in very tempting. As an added touch there were comfortable chairs on the porch to sit and read or enjoy the squirrels and cardinal couple that visited each morning. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to another family of four. Excellent value.
