The elevator was broke and they wanted you to walk your bags down three flight of stairs to check in. Then I was told that parking wasn’t validated and the price was $60. If I valet then it would be $46.

We enjoyed our stay at Element! The staff was very friendly and even got us into our rooms a little early so that was nice. The room is super cute and clean. It has an oversized mini fridge, full size microwave, a sink and even a toaster and utensils in the cabinets. Also a Keurig. We would definitely stay here again in the future. The location is great for uptown Charlotte!

I had a great stay at the hotel. It was very clean, has nice ambiance, and very walkable to the stadium as well as other shopping/restaurant options. The bartender on duty (Maury- I hope I spelled it right 😅) was absolutely lovely and personable. The staff as a whole were outstanding and very accommodating to requests and needs of the customers. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Except for parking it was great

The parking spaces that are alloted to the hotel were full. So I think I was forced to valet. However, my car is on the sidewalk in front of the hotel.

Super nice staff! I had concerns about parking availability and was assured weeks prior over the phone there would be no problem at all. When we got there they remembered me and as stated there was no problem with it, They let us check in earlier than expected and it overall was a perfect experience!

I had 2 vehicles valeted and the dropoff line was not clear, in basically an alleyway. very chaotic. My friend decided to leave to go home after midnight and was told the valet was gone for the night. Said friend was not informed the vehicle was in a residential area of the parking garage with limited access due to full capacity. Retrieving the vehicle was a nightmare because security was giving him a difficult time because it was parked in the residential section of the garage Took over an hour in the ordeal

Great walking distance to Bank of America stadium. Friendly and helpful staff. The parking situation was awful also the ac in the room couldn’t keep up. The cook at breakfast when asked for sunny side up egg served a raw egg… that could be a risk of salmonella.

I booked a room here for a concert six months in advance. Received an email for Earley electronic check-in and proceeded to do so. Got an email at 3 o’clock saying my room was ready to check in. After the concert was over at midnight I proceeded to go check in where I was told they had sold my room and did not have any more rooms available. They gave me a voucher for an another hotel 25 minutes away in Fort Mill South Carolina. I stay was in North Carolina not South Carolina! My business was in downtown Charlotte not Fort Mills South Carolina. Very inconvenient after that reason I cannot recommend staying here.

Great hotel. Clean. Great price point. Had fridge, stove. Terrific staff. Easy to get to Uptown. Only thing...$60 for overnight parking, tho. Yikes! However, I'd stay there again and prob find less expensive parking a block away.

As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with a strong sewage smell near the entrance. I had booked through Hotels.com, and the listing said self-parking was available for the same $42 USD nightly rate as valet, which turned out to be inaccurate. Thankfully, the front desk representative was kind and understanding—she let us borrow a valet pass so we could self-park temporarily, which we really appreciated. That said, parking was a big factor in our decision, and honestly, we would’ve booked with Home2 if we had known how limited the parking situation actually was. The valet attendant was cool too—no complaints about the staff at all. Everyone we interacted with was great. It’s more the overall setup and operation that didn’t meet expectations. The location was super convenient, and the hotel was mostly clean with some nice amenities, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
