Charged twice for one night

We staid one night and booked through hotels.com however the hotel also charged us for the full night. So we were charged twice for a one night stay and have not been able to get in touch with the staff to get the issue fixed. We have left voicemails with the billing department that have not been returned hoping this review will help get someones attention.

Terrible experience

I reserved the Le Meridian but was moved to the Sheraton because they had overbooked. I wasn’t notified about this prior to my 5pm arrival. The Sheraton isn’t as nice. I was traveling with my young child and was very concerned when I got the the room to find that our door wasn’t secure. I noticed the manager and they sent maintenance. We ended up locked in our room. Maintenance couldn’t open the door and neither could we until I used the knife of a wine opener and my room key card to pry the door lock open. It was a terrible experience in a hotel that I never should’ve been in from the start. The renovations need renovating BTW. It’s an absolute joke.

Hotel attempts to bill itself as an upper scale option to neighboring Sheraton but is completely run down. There is nothing but smoke-smelling hallways and j-horror stairways once you get past the lobby. Our room has malfunctioning lights, chips and scraping all over, pre-clogged toilet (convenient for those who do not want to clog the toilet themselves), and only scalding hot water coming out of the faucet and shower. This last issue is particularly novel, as compared to the more typical Ice Cold hotel water temperatures. The overall effect of this hotel is that of lowgrade prank show that would stream exclusively on gas station pump tvs. I would be impressed, if I wasn't staying here myself.

Hotel was ok and staff were very pleasant. It was also clean. The issue was in our room, the carpet was wet from constant leaks from the bathroom by previous guests. The bathroom was on higher ground than the actual room. Also there were holes in the bathroom wall so leaks could have got through there. The toilet also made very loud noises throughout the night. The hotel is fine just check your room before you settle in.
