The rooms are fairly clean and spacious. The hotel is well positioned in the area and walkable to downtown. No elevator is a negative if you are on the second level and having to bring luggage on your own..

A comfortable base in Charlottetown

This was a good base for our single night in Charlottetown. The room was spacious and comfortable and the shower was good. The breakfast was decent, much better than you normally find with an included buffet. All the staff we interacted with, at reception and at breakfast, were proactive and helpful.

The family suite that we booked was perfect for our family of five. There were plenty of towels for everyone which was lovely! The bathroom was a little small to get 5 people ready in the morning but we made it work. It could use a little TLC in the finishings but nothing gross. The location was perfect for walking down to the boardwalk and was easy to get to other places by car. The complimentary buffet breakfast was quite tasty with lots of options. Most surprisingly was a selection of gluten free items with a dedicated gluten free toaster even. Our celiac daughter was so excited to have this! This made everything worth the stay for sure!

We stayed at this hotel for one night in August 2025. Price paid was close to $400. This price indicated to us that the hotel would be clean, quiet, and well maintained. Our room (115- avoid if you can) was literally right beside the staircase leading from the front desk, and also beside the door leading to outside. This meant we could hear everything going on at the front desk, and every time the door opened and closed with guests going in and out. We could also hear people walking around and using the bathroom in the rooms above and beside us. When the breakfast began at 7 am, we could hear everyone going down to the dining room, all the conversations, etc. The quiet time at night was 8 pm. Despite this, we were kept up into the night by the noise. We have stayed at many hotels and some level of noise is always expected, but for the price we felt that this was excessive. We asked for a refund of $100 when we checked out due to the level of noise. The hotel would only refund us $75 - looking at other reviews this seems to be their regular policy for dissatisfied guests. We also noticed that there was a lot of dust around the hotel - on the blinds at the reception desk, on the coffee table in the reception area, and behind the TV in our room. There was also a random electrical cord sticking out of the wall, which had been hidden by the curtains until we pulled them back in the morning. Overall, we didn't find this hotel worth the price we paid.

We called about an early arrival at 10am and were told we would be prioritized and it wouldn’t be long. At 11am we were told it would be by 2pm and then at 2pm we were told hopefully by 4. We got our room at 4.
