Property was nice, bar and resturant were fairly good, due to no fault of the hotel, the power went out and was off for over 6 hours, had to climb the stairs multiple times, to 4th floor, which with bad knees is a pain. otherwise okay.

A disappointing stay this year. Friday/Saturday the pool and hot tub were overrun with teenagers. Absolutely packed. Better yet, they weren’t even staying at the hotel they’d just jumped over the fence to get in. Saturday while the racing was on was quiet however we wanted to bring our friends that were up for the day with us to swim and we were told we weren’t allowed. And rudely.

Poorly trained staff. Beds not made. I had to go to reception three times to try to get bedding. I was told they relied on texting people to get any service for guests. Very poorly run hotel. Staff members uninterested in resolving issue.

Our bathtub didn’t drain, the shower pressure was weak due to most of the water still coming out of the tap and not the shower. Room wasn’t refreshed until day 3 so no coffee for 2 mornings. Elevators were so slow it was faster to go down the stairs which isn’t ideal with suitcases etc. The room was very hot even with the fan and thermostat set to 60. Overall not a great experience for a hotel that’s supposed to be one of the best in Sun Peaks. We e stayed there lots and thus was our first bad experience

We were excited to check out this resort this summer- for the price of this resort they need to do a major spruce up. It’s run down, hot tub jets don’t work and looks like they haven’t been in awhile. Let the staff know but it appeared no big deal - sauna also didn’t heat. My son used the sofa pull out which was straight metal coils …I Mentioned it and they didn’t do anything about it- ridiculous as we rented a 1 brm suite. We were from BC and they wouldn’t honour the free parking for 2 days for BC residents- even though we booked on Expedia and paid over $300 more than the B.C. residents offer. I guess they feel they can stiff people because it’s on the only place with a pool. Residents also live in this building as an FYI - staff were average. Showers and baths need work.
