Great location

Very good location and parking. Room adequate but very poor lighting. Stayed two nights but no cleaning/servicing during our stay. Concierge very helpful and adjacent bistro Elsie’s daughter was excellent. Overall a good place to stay but could do with a little updating maybe.

This hotel was so charming - the decor was beautiful and unique. The room was beautiful and comfortable. We have stayed at a lot of hotels and this shower was absolutely the best ever - the water pressure was fantastic. The grounds were gorgeous. We walked around the area and found the best place for dinner - "Feed Table and Tavern". We stayed here on our way home from the Pensacola Beach to PA and this will definitely be our go to every year!!!!

This place was great! We will stay here again. The decor is elegant. The people working there are kind & helpful. We stupidly left a nice garmet bag that belonged to my mother, who passed in 09. It had 4 of hubs & 2 of my shirts. I was notified pretty quick. "Ilostmystuff.com." $40 & my bag arrives home via UPS. There's faster more $ options too. Elsie's Daughter restaurant was great. Those dates were amazing. Ribeye was cooked perfectly. The salad was a bit dry with the vinaigrette. Had a couple oysters at happy hour the day before. They were good. Alabama. The sauce was awesome! It wasn't cocktail sauce. It leaned that way. The menu said something about blood orange, which is good. We were on the way home from visiting family and stopped. We were close to the Hunter Museum and Rock City. (BUY Rock City tickets online, cheaper.) Those were worthwhile. We were going to do more outside Friday, but it rained. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

Romantic, charming get-away!

Beautiful hotel, pool was lovely! Surrounded by lush gardens and greenery. Gas lanterns make things even more romantic. Tons of places to walk to nearby, bakery, brunch spots, walk to merchants row for shopping. Highly recommend a stay in the train car! Gorgeous

The renovantion of this property is amazing. Time appropriate yet modern convenience. Amazing restaurant and bar options on property and within walking distance. Very clean and safe. Staff is very professional and attentive. Only negative is that the bathroom is dimmly lit which makes makeup application and shaving a challenge. Would highly recommend.
