An absolute gem… and we were lucky enough to be their very first guests!
My 14-year-old son and I were backpacking through Morocco when he spotted this riad on Expedia during our bus ride to Chefchaouen. We arrived just an hour later and were greeted warmly by the kind, multilingual staff, who told us the newly renovated riad had only just opened its doors, and we were the first to walk through them.
While our room was being prepared, we settled into the café downstairs for what turned out to be a genuinely delicious coffee. A perfect start!
The riad itself is beautiful, stylish and thoughtfully designed. Our room was pristine and quiet, with comfortable beds and a spacious en suite bathroom. The location puts you just steps from the Medina, making it easy to explore on foot.
We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, and loved both. The cafe offers great food, attentive service, and an excellent playlist that really set the mood.
I can already tell this place is destined to become one of the very best riads in Chefchaouen. The staff, the setting, the food: it all comes together beautifully. Highest possible recommendation!
