It feels like it’s at the fringe of ring 1 so it’s just slight further from shopping places. But it’s nearer to a few sightseeing places. I walked a lot. The design of the place and room is abit dated tho they uses good amenities. There is metro a stone throw away and u could didi everywhere in a good price

Location is perfect

The location of the Hotel is excellent. Just come out of exit F of Loumashi on line 4 of metro, its on your left. We stayed on the 40th floor. Views are excellent. It's walkable distance from Tianfu Square and many other attractions. Breakfast is excellent.

Pros: Hotel looks really posh and clean, the room was nice too. It's on the affordable range. You can easily find authentic Sichuan cuisine and products nearby. The metro is a walkable 3 minutes, there is a lift that goes from the ground floor to the station. It is also near Tianfu central shopping district, just a metro stop away. Many of the main tourist spots are just one or two metro stops away. Cons: The WC is seated pretty low and seat isn't heated, so it can be pretty harsh in a colder climate. P.S I can't really account for the staff being able to speak English because I communicated everything in Chinese.

Centrally located. Right next to Subway station for line 1 & 4 trains. My room is pretty big and quite clean. Staff is very friendly. Only improvement I’d recommend is to replace carpet with vinyl flooring. But for the price and convenience, it’s a perfect place and I will definitely stay there in my future trips back to Chengdu.

Fantastic property in the centrecity

We had an absolute great stay at this property. From the central location, meters away from the metro entrance and walking distance to the central square and nearby sights; to the level of comfort and care provided by every member of the staff. Very welcoming and helpful, willing to care at all the times. The room was splendid! Super large, so well taken care and prepared, quiet and comfortable, and so high up with that great views. A shower and a bath in a very large bathroom area. The breakfast was marvellous, we had access to the Lounge, hence it was prepared on the go and fresh as you come. Top property!

We loved our first stay so much, we recommended it to our friends, and we all came back here for 4 days. Dorsett is beautiful, the suite was given as an upgrade, the value was fantastic. The dining was world-class, and the service is the best you can find anywhere in the world. They knock themselves out trying to please you, and it seems they always do!

Likes: The room, it was spacious more like a suite with seperate seating area and another TV. Good views. Beautiful bathroom with double sinks and stand alone bath, plus enclosed shower. Electric powered curtain function. Modern room but with a touch of traditional design. Doormen polite. Dislikes: the room smelt a bit of smoke despite being a non smoking room, it also had ash trays. Dinner service, we went to restaurant for buffet but the area was busy being used on the evening that 76 we decided to go. Breakfast was nice, having all the standard foods available, waiting staff didn't clear the tables quickly enough in my opinion. But were courteous and helpful with any requests. Carrefour shop a short walk down the road plus coffee shops and cake shops near.
