The ceiling profusely leaked water, the door to the room would not open and when told it was fixed we found out the lock was disabled, meaning anyone could enter the room at any time. We were not offered a new room until we complained. The pool was closed. We couldn't connect to the WiFi and was forced to do work at a local Starbucks. The lady who cooked omelettes was rude and did nothing but complain about how much she had to work. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this hotel.

A "C" for Effort

The ambiance in common areas is great. There were a few things needing attention to in my room. The shower nozzle was broken, water almost filled the tub. When I tried to use the room phone, it didn't work. I used my cell phone to call front desk to send someone before the room flooded. Repairman came running after 6 or 7 minutes went by. Very scary and nerve wracking.

Great Breakfast, poor room quality.

Came in very late, but all the same…one worker who took about 15 minutes to check us in even though we were already checked in online. Room was supposed to be nonsmoking but there was a residual smell lingering. Stains on carpet Chipped paint on bathroom doors Bed super lumpy GREAT BREAKFAST!!!! Omelette station, buffet options…family friendly!

I've stayed at Embassy Suites Beachwood before. This time, however, the shower in my room didn't work. I returned to my room late at night, so I didn't notice the broken shower until morning. The shower handle wasn't attached and fell off in my hand. I let the front desk associate know when I checked out, and she said the manager would contact me to discuss reimbursement. I still haven't heard from anyone, so we'll see.
