This is a hidden gem in Bacalar. It is a wonderful property, neat, clean, quiet and ‘off the beaten path.’ Great place to lay your head.

Very convenient location just as you come into town from the north two blocks off 307. Great value for the money. Manager is very friendly and accommodating to your needs. Room is clean and air conditioning works great. Bathroom shower could use some updating, but very adequate. This is our third time staying here. We didn’t hear the rooster this time; it may be gone now.

Great value. This property is one block off Rte. 307 as you come into town from the north. Clean and cute fenced compound. Rooms air conditioned and clean and comfortable. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Quick 5 minute car ride to Bacalar waterfront. The two hour tour of the lake was great for 400-500 pesos. Water was so warm and pretty.

Great Choice if you don't mind the distance

The value was outstanding! The location is not too far from downtown Bacalar (across the main highway) and you save a ton of money staying here instead of a hotel closer to downtown Bacalar (if you have a car). It is probably a 25 minute walk to downtown Bacalar. Even though there is plenty of street parking, there are only four parking spaces right outside the entrance of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was two blocks off Rte. 307 which was very convenient. Charming small hotel centered around a courtyard with tables and chairs to relax or visit with others. Front desk and staff very nice, friendly and helpful. Room very clean and modern. Hotel is surrounded by the homes of the “locals” which we really liked but it may not be for everyone. We spent about $40/might and we thought it was a great value. Los Rapidos was about a 10 minute car ride. We also took the lake tour in the pontoon for 400 ($20 USD) pesos/person. It was well worth it. Got to swim and learn a lot about Bacalar. Another day we visited a beach club called Cocalitos. Minimal charge of 50 pesos and there is a restaurant and bar there. We had a great three day visit. Bacalar is a beautiful place.

Great spot for the price

For the price our hotel was great! We were not by the lake but we had a rental car and it was a short 10 minute drive. Grace was the best! She greeted us and helped us with places to go and restaurants to eat at. Thank you for all your help! There is an annoying Rooster near by but we have found that at most of the hotels we have been to here. I just briny ear plugs and it was fine.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in throughout my trip. Beautiful hammocks and garden area. Waking towards the hotel seems very residential but it was worth it.
