Fiammetta - Residence in an old Tuscan farmhouse near Montepulciano

The Fiammetta residence is a cozy 3-person accommodation perfect for a couple with a child. Furnished with antique furniture, it consists of a dining area with kitchen, a living area and a large bedroom. It is built inside an old, completely renovated cellar overlooking the garden inside the Podere La Cava.
The Podere La Cava is a typical Tuscan farmhouse situated in the enchanting countryside between Montepulciano and Chianciano Terme whose name derives from a nearby gravel pit. Its construction probably dates back to the XVIII century, certainly it is already visible in a map of 1826 and since the end of the 1800 it belongs to the Ricci family that has always used it for the summer holidays. Surrounded by woods and olive groves, it enjoys a splendid view of the Val di Chiana which extends to Lake Trasimeno. Due to its location, the Podere La Cava is ideal for those who want the peace and tranquility of the countryside or take pleasant walks.
The farmhouse has been recently restored respecting the Tuscan tradition, preserving the original structure and furnishings and using local materials and artisans.

The structure is very close to important spas and cities of art. The thermal baths of Montepulciano and Chianciano are very close, those of Bagni Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo and San Casciano are just a few kilometers away, as are the historic centers of Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona, the entire Val d'Orcia and Val di Chiana. All places of interest in southern Tuscany, Umbria and northern Lazio are within easy reach, and daily car trips to Rome and Florence are possible.
