The house is cozy and welcoming, but it's a shame about its location. It's not exactly where the advert says it is. The area is on the outskirts and dangerous, making it unsafe to walk around. The host wasn't prompt in responding

This is the perfect home base for your family if you're visiting the museums in Chicago. It's a short drive to the Museum of Science and Industry, Field Museum, Soldier Field, etc. The apartment is lovely, updated and spacious, and there is plenty of (free) street parking. While some people express concern about south side areas, this neighborhood seemed very quiet and safe, with many homes being renovated and updated. We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.
