I would actually rate it 3.5 stars. Front desk staff weren’t particularly welcoming. WiFi was slow. $25 per day activities fee was a rip off. There should also be a less expensive option for breakfast. It was comfortable enough but little annoyances detract from the overall quality of the experience.

One person at front desk during checkin in the afternoon. Rooms are dates and not well maintained. Bathrooms lights are sunk in, reciept from previous guest shoved in. Toilet paper stuffed in peep hole.

The room was not very clean, the corners were full of dust accumulated over months. Location was great. But we have visited many Fairmonts in ither cities and the Restaurant or buffet is superb, in this case the restaurant is outsourced, small and we had to waut for service, it was ok. Eouldnt stay in this hotel again in my next trip to Chicago.
